Today I visited a spot near Handam Beach walking trail and Landy's Donuts — one of the must-do courses in Aewol, Jeju — where you can enjoy fantastic ocean views while eating amazing pork noodle soup! With the blue Aewol sea stretching out beyond huge floor-to-ceiling windows, you get a meal and a moment of healing at the same time. Walking in, the restaurant lives up to its promise of ocean views from every seat — the wide-open Aewol sea view came into sight all at once and I couldn't help but gasp 💡 If you time your visit for sunset, you can enjoy a meal full of emotion while watching the sky and sea turn red over Aewol.
We ordered the restaurant's pride and signature menu items: the rich bone broth pork noodles, the refreshing dongchimi bibim noodles, and the handmade tteokgalbi packed with flavor!
What's on the self-serve bar: side dishes, kids' bowls and hair ties
After ordering, you scoop your own crunchy fresh kimchi and sweet-spicy pickled radish from the self-serve bar, and even the basic side dishes packed a serious punch of flavor. They also had kids' forks, bowls, and hair ties available, which really showed how much they think about their guests!

A little while later, the rich bone broth pork noodles arrived generously piled into a brass bowl, and the visual alone conveyed how substantial it was 🍜 The bone broth, simmered for a long time, was already perfectly seasoned — the moment I took a sip, a deep savory flavor washed over me, nutty but not heavy, and clean.
The Jeju pork dombe topping gently laid over the noodles had zero gamey smell and was chewy yet tender — wrapping it with the thin noodles and crunchy bean sprouts made me genuinely happy.
Dongchimi bibim noodles with a pool of icy radish broth
Next up, the dongchimi bibim noodles came generously loaded with Jeju pork, fresh cucumber, bean sprouts, and a special sauce, all beautifully arranged on top! Pouring the accompanying icy, slushy dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth over the noodles to taste and mixing it all together — the texture was absolutely artful.
The tangy-sweetness of the special sauce, the refreshing coolness of the dongchimi, and the chewy, springy noodles danced together in my mouth, completely reviving my appetite in the middle of summer!
Handmade tteokgalbi wrapped in bibim noodles for a sweet-salty bite
Finally, the golden-brown grilled handmade tteokgalbi hit my nose with a deep sweet and salty aroma 🤎 The moment I bit in, juicy meat juices trapped inside the thick patty burst out, and the more I chewed, the more the tender, nutty flavor spread gently through my whole mouth.
Wrapping a piece of this handmade tteokgalbi with the spicy-refreshing dongchimi bibim noodles created a perfect harmony of sweet, salty, and spicy — I was in awe until the very last bite, and cleaned my plate completely!
After exploring the Aewol coastal road, I was fully satisfied being able to enjoy such high-quality pork noodles, bibim noodles, and tteokgalbi at great value while looking out at that gorgeous ocean view!
