Seonyudo Station burger and beer: Double Crunch platter, BAS Burger
In short
BAS Burger Seonyudo is a handmade burger restaurant right in front of Seonyudo Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, with a hip feel that suits a draft beer. After a Ttareungi bike ride through Seonyudo Park, the writer ordered the BAS Burger set (12,100 won) and the Double Crunch (14,500 won), a platter of crunch chicken, a mozza cheese bar and coleslaw, and added draft beer plus the free self-serve potato chips called James Gam with pollock roe mayo. A solid stop when you want a park walk and chimaek (fried chicken and beer) in one go.

The weather's turned pretty cool lately, so on the weekend I rode a Ttareungyi (Seoul's public bike) to Seonyudo Park for a walk. After finishing my stroll through the Han River park, I looked for a burger spot near Seonyudo Station to grab a quick dinner and found 'BAS Burger,' so I headed over. On the way there, a cute little flea market happened to be going on. I was hungry, so I decided to eat burgers first and browse slowly afterward.
Where BAS Burger Seonyudo is and what the space feels like
BAS Burger Seonyudo is on the 1st floor of 118-1 Yangpyeong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, right in front of Seonyudo Station. A red neon sign catches your eye from far away — this is the Seonyudo restaurant I'm introducing today, BAS Burger.

Being right in front of Seonyudo Station makes it super accessible, and the exterior already had that hip craft-beer-bar vibe. Stepping inside, it was clean and comfortable — great for dates but also totally fine for a solo meal or solo beer after a walk in Seonyudo Park. I felt like I'd found a real Seonyudo gem and my mood lifted the moment I walked in.
What we ordered at BAS Burger Seonyudo and what it cost
At BAS Burger Seonyudo, I picked the classic BAS Burger set (₩12,100) and the popular Double Crunch (₩14,500). Ordering was simple via kiosk.

I liked that ordering a set let me pick a side of my choice, so I could try a variety of things. This place seems to have built a reputation as a Seonyudo burger spot too — delivery orders kept coming in the whole time. I was so curious what they tasted like. It felt like it'd be a shame to just eat burgers in a place with this kind of atmosphere, so I decided on chimaek instead haha.

Free handmade potato chips: James Gam
After ordering, I looked around the store and spotted a really interesting sign — an announcement for BAS Burger's special service unique to this Seonyudo burger spot, called 'James Gam.'

In one corner of the store there was a big bowl of thinly sliced handmade potato chips you could scoop out as much as you wanted. Unlike store-bought chips, these had a bit more thickness and made a satisfying crunch when you bit into them. Not too salty, more on the plain side — they had this addictive pull that kept my hand reaching over while waiting for food. I think this generous service is part of why this place is so loved as a Seonyudo restaurant.

There was also a generous variety of sauces (pollock roe mayo, ranch, etc.) for dipping chips or chicken, which made things more fun to mix and match. Personally, the salty-yet-mellow pollock roe mayo sauce paired amazingly with the crispy chips.

Chimaek after the Seonyudo Park walk: draft beer at BAS Burger
Finally, our orders arrived alongside cold draft beer. A sip of cold beer with the burger and all the fatigue from the day just melted away. Chimaek after a walk is unavoidable, honestly. BAS Burger, a great Seonyudo restaurant, is perfect for relaxing with a light beer after a stroll through Seonyudo Park.

How does the signature BAS Burger taste?
First I tried the signature item at BAS Burger Seonyudo, the BAS Burger. Between soft, glossy buns were piled fresh tomato and green leaf lettuce. You could tell at a glance the vegetables were super fresh.
Cutting it in half, you could see the patty's clear juices soaking in moist and rich. Taking a big bite, the softness of the bun, the crunch of the vegetables, and the savory flavor of the beef patty came together pleasantly in the mouth. It wasn't overly seasoned, letting the ingredients' natural flavors shine, so I could eat it all the way through without getting tired of it. This Seonyudo burger spot would be great to finish a meal with the kids too.

The fries included in the set were firm and crispy outside with a fluffy inside texture well preserved. Nice that they weren't too salty. I thought it'd be great to pack these to go and eat one by one on a bench on the way to Seonyudo Park.

What comes on the Double Crunch platter
The Double Crunch (₩14,500) arrived — a hearty platter with crunch chicken, mozza cheese bar, coleslaw and mini buns all on one plate. Couldn't ask for a more perfect beer snack.

The mozza cheese bar
The mozza cheese bar included in the set was fried to a nice golden brown and crispy finish. It had a decent thickness too, looking filling just from the sight of it.
There was so much cheese inside the mozza cheese bar that you couldn't cut it with a knife — you had to pull and stretch to break it apart. Crispy outside, and the cheese pulled out savory and stretchy inside, doubling the fun of eating it. The salty richness of the cheese practically called for a cold beer.

Coleslaw and building your own mini burgers
This is the coleslaw that comes with the Double Crunch set. Crunchy cabbage tossed in a sweet-and-tangy sauce that cuts through the greasiness of the chicken.

It was really fun to build my own mini burger by topping the mini buns with the chicken and this coleslaw.

The crunch chicken
The texture of the crunch chicken, the star of the platter, was genuinely amazing.

True to its name, the outer coating shattered with a satisfying crunch like a cracker, while the inside kept the moist, tender grain of the chicken thigh meat intact.
The salty seasoning soaked all the way through, so the flavor lingered even after swallowing — a taste I'd definitely order again on a return visit. It was the standout popular item on this visit to this Seonyudo restaurant.
Is BAS Burger Seonyudo worth a visit?
BAS Burger, the Seonyudo restaurant I visited today, wasn't about exaggerated seasoning or flashy tricks — it was a genuine Seonyudo restaurant that quietly wins with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of textures.
The juicy, clean-tasting 'BAS Burger' would suit anyone who prefers a light finish that doesn't sit heavy afterward. The hearty 'Double Crunch' set, where you mix and match crispy chicken and mozza cheese bar to taste, comes strongly recommended for anyone who wants a variety of flavors alongside a cold beer.
Above all, the high-quality handmade potato chips 'James Gam,' offered free of charge, made pairing them with a cold beer that much better. The atmosphere was relaxed enough that it'd also be great for a solo chimaek session at home in spirit. On a nice day, I'm planning to pack the delicious burgers and sides to go, lay out a mat by the Han River near Seonyudo Park, and enjoy it all over again at leisure. If you're ever craving a hearty, delicious handmade burger, be sure to stop by!

I was browsing and it was too cute, so I brought it home.
