Ulju café with outdoor bug play and lemon slushies: MUG

While we were out in Eonyang over the weekend and wondering where to go, we ended up visiting MUG (카페 먹).

Even when I go to a café normally, I prefer having a delicious dessert along with my drink. At MUG, its scale caught my eye from the moment we walked in—it was really something else.

The parking lot was spacious, and there was room outside the café for the children to look around and play, so it was genuinely a great place to visit as a family.

We visited while out in Eonyang for the weekend, and first of all, I loved that the parking lot was so spacious. When we stepped outside the café, there was a fountain and grassy areas, which gave it such a different atmosphere.

Before we even went into the café, the kids wandered around the grass, catching bugs and playing for ages.

If you are looking for places to visit in Eonyang, I thought this would be a nice addition to an Eonyang outing rather than just a café stop.

Especially on a day out with children, it can be hard to spend all your time inside a café, so I was pleased that we could naturally spend time outdoors too. Once we went inside, I was surprised all over again by how large it was. The high ceilings and open space meant it did not feel cramped at all, and there were lots of different seating options, making it easy to relax.

So many desserts at this Eonyang café that choosing was difficult

The most memorable part of MUG was, of course, the desserts. There were so many breads and desserts on display that at first I could hardly decide what to choose. The breads came in such a variety, and every single one looked so pretty that they were not easy to pass by.

What was especially interesting was that, unlike an ordinary café, MUG had many menu items made with muk (a jelly-like Korean acorn or grain gel). There were muk-based drinks too, and since it is not a combination you easily come across, I was even more curious. We ordered lemon slushies and coffee to try.

If attractive presentation and variety are important to you when looking for desserts at an Eonyang café, I think you will quite like MUG. If you love bread, simply browsing the display cases will be a lot of fun too. There were so many choices that I immediately thought I would have to try different desserts next time.

A good Eonyang stop to visit with children

MUG felt less like a café where you simply have coffee and leave, and more like a place where families can spend time together. The children could play outside catching bugs while the adults enjoyed drinks and desserts in the café, so everyone was happy. The interior was spacious too, so it was relatively comfortable to spend time there with children.

Most of all, after coming out to Eonyang for a weekend outing, having delicious desserts made the day feel nicely complete. If you are searching Eonyang café desserts and looking for somewhere to visit, MUG is worth checking out. It would suit people who love large cafés, as well as anyone looking for a café with a different kind of atmosphere.

We enjoyed our drinks and desserts, the kids had a blast playing outside, and the whole family left happy. There were especially so many kinds of bread that I would like to choose something different on our next visit. If you are looking for somewhere to visit in Eonyang and want a café you can go to with children, MUG seems like a very good choice.

With easy parking, plenty of space, and things to see, it was a great place to take a break during an Eonyang outing. Above all, this visit, when we really wanted to enjoy Eonyang café desserts, was satisfying in both flavor and atmosphere. It is a café I would like to stop by again on our next outing to Eonyang.
