I went back to my usual hair salon in Sangnam-dong, Changwon: Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점). It is right in front of the Sangnam-dong intersection, so it is really easy to reach whether you take public transportation or drive. I used the building parking again this time, and the walk from parking to the salon was short and convenient.

Even though I visited on a weekday afternoon, it was really busy! If you want to start your service right away without waiting, I definitely recommend making a Naver Booking reservation. I booked ahead too, and could go in right on time, which was great—no time wasted.

A clean, bright salon atmosphere

The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was how spacious it felt. There are several seats, but it never felt cramped; instead, the pathways are divided with plenty of room, so I was comfortable throughout the service. The interior is bright overall, and lots of natural light comes in too, making it great for photos. You can tell they paid attention to every light and decor detail, and it was the kind of space that lifts your mood just by sitting there.

It was a weekday afternoon, but the seats were almost full. That really made me feel that this is a salon with genuine word-of-mouth buzz in Sangnam-dong. It also seemed like there were lots of longtime regulars like me.

Consulting on orange fading and gray hair before full color

I came in for full color this time. I was surprised by how much more thorough the consultation was than I expected. Two designers worked on my color together this time. While one applied the dye, the other kept checking the application and amount used from beside me. I could see how carefully they worked, without missing a single strand. They paid extra attention when applying color to the areas with more gray hair, and checked at intervals so the color would develop evenly.

They brought me coffee, tea, and even snacks during the appointment, so I spent the time really comfortably. The atmosphere was so cozy and nice that I almost nodded off in the middle, haha. It had been a while since I had received a service so leisurely, with that cared-for feeling, and it was healing in itself.

Once the coloring was finished, they gave my hair a refreshing wash and included a scalp massage, which felt so good and clean. The whole appointment, from consultation to finish, took about an hour and a half. It did not take as long as I expected, so it was easy to fit into my day.

A natural toned-down color that corrected the orange cast

I was truly satisfied the moment I saw the result! Jet-black hair does not suit me, but this color came out with such a subtle toned-down quality that my face actually looked brighter and more radiant. The leftover orange fading was corrected naturally, the gray hair was covered neatly, and my overall hair condition felt instantly revived. I think I just kept admiring it in the mirror.

Maybe because I have been coming here for so long, they already know my hairstyle, tone, and the direction I want, so I could trust them from the consultation through to the result. Being a regular also made it a big plus that I could ask for what I wanted more comfortably.
