How to walk there from Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 6

Bobo Sikdang Apgujeong, the Apgujeong Rodeo Chinese restaurant, is about a 6-minute walk from Rodeo Station Exit 6, and about 15 minutes from Apgujeong Station. Nearby are Dosan Park, Rodeo Street, and Apgujeong Galleria — lots to see, and it's a great shopping area. There were events and things to look at all along the alleys.
This red front door stands out and is easy to spot from far away! There's a parking lot directly across from the restaurant, so look for the sign on the left and park on the right.
Inside Bobo Sikdang Apgujeong: dining room and private rooms

Walking in, you're greeted by a '100 Taste of Seoul' certificate and a plate from Culinary Class Wars. I walked in already excited from the entrance.
Going in right when they opened on a weekday, the hall felt cozy from the entrance and there were plenty of seats. I saw spots for groups, and most tables seated four.
There are various rooms. You can call ahead based on your family or group size to reserve a private room, while the hall can be booked through Naver reservations!
Autumn chef's recommendations and what two people ordered
The first page of the Bobo Sikdang Apgujeong menu features the chef's seasonal special that changes throughout the year. This autumn, we chose the garlic sauce glass noodle steamed live shrimp, along with pork tenderloin butter sweet and sour pork and mapo tofu, totaling ₩78,000 for two people.

↔️ Slide sideways to see more! The first page shows the chef's recommended special menu, a limited menu that changes with the seasons. Since it's made with fresh, in-season ingredients, I think it's the tastiest option! I've been here several times, so check my earlier posts for other menu items~😊 (Chuck flap steak & fresh cod stew, spicy monkfish, char siu, oyster jjamppong)

- Pork tenderloin butter sweet and sour pork ₩35,000
- Mapo tofu (choice of noodles or rice) ₩16,000
- Garlic sauce glass noodle steamed live shrimp ₩27,000
- Total for 2 = ₩78,000
Steamed live shrimp with garlic sauce and glass noodles

The garlic sauce glass noodle steamed live shrimp comes with shrimp cooked to a nice orange color, cut in half for easy eating, laid over the glass noodles. Glass noodles~ my sister, who loves them, ate it happily. But for me, it's all about the shrimp!~ Eating well while they're in season, healing time with my sister — whose wrinkles keep multiplying thanks to her high schooler son — over good food~ 😍
Mapo tofu with a choice of noodles or rice

You can choose noodles or rice with the mapo tofu, and we went with noodles. It had that mala flavor with a bit of numbing in the mouth, but not too intense — just enough to notice, made in a pretty mild, Korean-style way. It reminded me of going for Hong Kong-style mala once and being shocked by how sharp and addictive that spice was😊
Butter tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork tenderloin)

The pork tenderloin butter sweet and sour pork comes freshly fried with butter placed right on top, so it melts quickly and gives the dish a really rich, savory flavor. Made with tenderloin, it's incredibly tender, and I loved the plump texture.
