Pangyo pasta restaurant with kids' tableware: Andover
In short
Andover is a Western restaurant specializing in house-made sauce pastas on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo, Seongnam. On a weekend lunch visit with a child, the order was stracciatella tomato pasta, jambon cream pasta and clam risotto, and staff brought a separate kids' plate, cup and cutlery so the meal stayed easy. The tomato sauce made in-house stood out most, making Andover worth remembering for a kid-friendly Pangyo brunch.

A weekend Pangyo brunch review of pasta at Andover, a Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite

After visiting the Pangyo children's library over the weekend, I searched for somewhere to have Pangyo brunch with my kid and landed on Andover, a Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite known for house-made sauces — here's my honest review of pasta both my kid and I enjoyed.
Where is Andover and what are its hours?

On weekends there's no break time and they're open until 10pm, so it's also a good Baekhyeon-dong spot for pasta and wine in the evening.

Indoor seats and outdoor tables at Andover

The moment I walked in, the sleek, clean interior caught my eye — black and white paired with wood tones gave off a modern yet warm feel at this Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite.

The owner apparently designed and chose the interior personally, and it showed — every little prop felt carefully considered at this Pangyo pasta favorite.

There's a big table further inside suitable for gatherings or group dinners, and on a nice day, sitting at the outdoor tables for Pangyo brunch would be seriously romantic.

I visited for weekend lunch and saw other guests enjoying Pangyo brunch too; with a good wine selection, it's also a nice Baekhyeon-dong spot for wine in the evening.
Is Andover good with kids? Kids' tableware and the self-serve bar
Andover brought out a separate plate, cup and cutlery for my kid, which made dining with a toddler easy. At the self-serve bar you can grab water and cutlery yourself, and I asked for a pickle refill.

Table setting and free pickle refills
Each table has fresh flowers, giving the space a bright yet upscale feel — the color and arrangement of the flowers were pretty enough to make this a great date spot too.
They give you tongs, a serving spoon, and one pickle per person, so it's easy to serve yourself — the pickles come whole and had a nice crisp texture.
The three dishes ordered at Andover

Today at Andover, this Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite, we ordered tomato pasta, cream pasta and risotto. Each dish came out one at a time, and after about 15 minutes the food arrived, so we didn't wait too long.
Stracciatella tomato pasta at Andover

I ordered the stracciatella tomato pasta for my kid, who loves tomato pasta, and it came piled high with cheese.

The cheese on top was stracciatella, a fresh Italian cheese that's the filling inside burrata cheese, which many people eat these days — it's made from fresh mozzarella and cream, and it was rich and nutty.

The noodles were cooked to a nice bouncy texture, and with all that cheese piled on, eating it together made for an amazing nutty flavor — a real Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite.

One bite of the tomato sauce and I was hooked — I usually prefer cream pasta, but Andover's house-made tomato sauce was on a completely different level from store-bought tomato sauce, with a deep flavor and clean finish that people of all ages would love.

Whole olives and cherry tomatoes were mixed in too, adding great texture — the tomato sauce was so good it's the best tomato pasta I've had so far!

My kid, who loves cheese, ate the cheese first and then dug happily into the cheese-loaded pasta too — a pasta a kid can genuinely enjoy, making it perfect for a Pangyo brunch with kids.
Jambon cream pasta at Andover

The jambon cream pasta came topped with jambon and arugula over cream pasta, with a generous amount of jambon — it passed the looks test for sure.
Rolling the jambon and pasta together for one bite gave the salty flavor of jambon along with a deep, rich cream taste, and the arugula was fresh.

I already like cream pasta and eat it often, but this was among the best cream pastas I've had — the noodles were thick, so they held onto the cream and stuck to your mouth perfectly.
Since it's a house-made cream sauce, it wasn't heavy at all, but eating it with jalapeño gave it a spicy kick — definitely order cream pasta at Andover!
Clam risotto at Andover
Craving risotto for the first time in a while, I ordered the clam risotto, which came topped with clams, cherry tomatoes and arugula, giving it a wonderfully fresh feel.
It's made with Andover's own house-made bisque sauce as a base — a bisque made from crustacean shells, butter and various vegetables — giving it a deep, rich seafood aroma and flavor.

The rice retained a satisfying pop of texture, and eating it together with the arugula and cherry tomatoes added a refreshing balance.

The clams added a chewy, nutty flavor, and cutting up a pickle to top the risotto gave a crisp texture and sweet-tart flavor that paired beautifully — a great Pangyo brunch dish.
Final verdict on lunch at Andover

Another Pangyo brunch review with a plate wiped clean. Because all the sauces are house-made, every dish we ordered was delicious, with a depth of flavor different from other places — I'm saving this as a Baekhyeon-dong favorite to return to with friends.
