Before heading off on my trip, I went to Yeojin Hair Atelier Daegu Suseong, a hair salon in Suseong, Daegu, to get my hair done.
They give ₩20,000 off for first-time visitors who pay with Naver Pay and write a review, so I booked through Naver before going. Phone reservations and inquiries are available too.
Public transportation and free parking
Yeojin Hair Atelier Daegu Suseong is on the second floor of the Easyun Wedding Gallery building, which you will see after passing Mansion 5 Suseong from Deulan-gil Intersection. It is a 1-minute walk from the bus stop and 15 minutes from Hwanggeum Station Exit 1, so I recommend taking the bus!
There is a dedicated parking lot for the building, with free parking, so it was convenient to visit by car too.
They also offer a discount at the Sonax Car Care across the street, so it might be nice to leave your car for a wash while getting your hair done haha.
The building entrance is the one in the photo. This Suseong hair salon, Yeojin Hair Atelier, has won the 2026 Regional Brand Award and is the home of a master hairstylist with a patented cutting technique 👏👏 I took the elevator comfortably up to the second floor!! When I opened the door and went in, the staff welcomed me warmly, which made for such a nice start. They stored my belongings in a locker and even made sure I had the key—such thoughtfulness~~👍
Consultation and added charges for length and volume
They started with a consultation before the service, and the sofa was incredibly soft and comfortable. The prices matched those listed on Naver, and there are additional charges depending on hair length and volume!!! For me, with hair down to my chest, it was ₩80,000, plus ₩20,000 because I have a lot of hair.
Once the consultation was over, they handed me a menu to choose a drink 😝
I am dieting, so I just asked for water, but even the water was served so elegantly—I loved it haha.
Private rooms and individual shampoo rooms
After the consultation, I headed to my seat. The interior was spacious and upscale.
The paintings displayed throughout the salon even made it feel like I had come to an art gallery.
The private individual rooms at the back are available when you want a quiet service or need to bring a pet along. You can use them without a reservation, but there may not be a room available, so I recommend booking ahead❗️
To accurately assess my hair condition, they shampooed my hair first, and every shampoo room is private too. The bed was soft, so it was comfortable even lying down for a while, and I loved how quiet it was with one room per person~~☺️ The shampoo was refreshing and thorough, done with bare hands too ⭐️ When applying the solution and drying my hair, they put protective film over my face so nothing would get on it—and their hands were so quick!!!
The sleek perm process, with a cut included
A cut is included with the sleek perm, so they cut my hair too. Instead of a regular cape, the cutting cape had sleeves, so I could use my phone comfortably during the service.
They cut my hair twice—once before using the flat iron and once after. They carefully removed every stray hair from my face too,,🤗 I also loved that they explained how to care for my hair so kindly and thoroughly.
My sleek perm, finished calm and smooth
My hair is finally done~~~ Isn't it so calm and pretty? I did not even add a nourishing treatment, but my hair felt better than before the service. They were also holding a prize-draw event for their second anniversary, so I gave it a try. Everyone wins—there are no losing tickets!!!!!
