Suseong Daegu hair salon S-curl layered perm and clinic: 26do Hair

My layered C-curl perm from around March was starting to fall out, and since it was summer I wanted a new hairstyle, so I went looking for a hair salon in Suseong-gu and ended up at 26do Hair Suseong Branch. I made sure to book with Director Taerim, who's known for layered perms — and the result was total satisfaction!

26do Hair Suseong, a hair salon in Suseong-gu, offers parking. If you navigate to Suseong 1-ga Community Service Center and go into what looks like an apartment complex, you'll find the commercial building's parking lot right there. The salon itself is on the 2nd floor and there are quite a few shops in the building, so there are usually spots available, though shaded ones are rare (?).

From the parking lot, head toward the shops and go into the building marked with Suseong Bom Dental Clinic and Kim Yoonjeong Pediatric Clinic. Walking forward you'll see a café building you can also enter through, or go in the back door where the elevator is right there — either way works!

The place was packed with people even though it was a weekday..! Since all the directors have different days off, the salon stays open year-round.

There's also a lounge area where you can sit and rest for a bit.

Prices and the 30% first-visit discount

For 26do Hair Suseong prices, they vary by director on the website, so it's best to check via Naver Reservation. On my first visit, they gave 30% off the entire menu. Also, if you visit through a friend's referral, you get an additional discount~

So this is the before shot, before getting my hair done. I do use treatment, but applying hair essence and stuff is just so~~~~ much of a hassle that my hair was a mess..

Consultation with Director Taerim: from C-curl to S-curl

The director who worked on me this time is Director 'Taerim.' She specializes in layered perms, magic straightening setting, and personal color, and since I was really torn about which perm to get that day, I asked all sorts of questions and she was so kind and thorough in her consultation ㅠㅠ I originally planned to do the usual C-curl, but once it came down to it, I found myself wanting an S-curl with a bit more perm this time haha. So I switched right then and there!

Partway through the softening process, the director noticed my hair seemed pretty damaged and asked if I'd like to add a clinic treatment too. Since I was already getting 30% off on my first visit, it seemed like a good deal to go for a slightly higher-tier clinic than the basic one, so I decided to add it in a bit later!

While waiting for the softening process, they brought drinks and snacks too! Ade, tea, coffee, and more — lots of variety so you can pick whatever you like!

For the heat perm, the way she wound the rods was so meticulous, and she kept checking and paying careful attention throughout.

I wanted to cut my bangs, but she said cutting them into side bangs and sweeping them naturally to the side would look prettier, so she rolled the bangs separately too!

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha my bangs all rolled up like that were so funny. After that I went to get my hair washed, and that's when she really loaded on the clinic treatment.

How the layered S-curl perm turned out

The perm turned out prettier than I expected, and my hair even looked more voluminous. The sides had perm in them too, so my face looked smaller somehow (?).

Just look at this perfect S-curl.. 🥺💗 The director complimented the back view, saying the perm turned out great. She made sure I dried my hair from the inside out myself, checking on me the whole time hahahahahahahahaha Director!!! I'm drying my hair properly right now!!!!

Finally, when I left, they gave me a care sheet along with various coupons and even hair supplements.

Since a perm lasts a long time as long as you dry your hair properly~~ I'm going to keep taking good care of it and keep it looking nice.
