From the row across from Daiso, walk toward the UGG store and the Wine & More shop, all the way to the far end, and you'll spot a charming red brick pillar. Follow the clean signage and mouth-watering food posters attached to the pillar around the corner, and the restaurant's old-fashioned exterior appears.

The moment I pushed open the neat brown-toned glass door, all the bustle of the outlet outside vanished and a quiet, warm air wrapped around me. The first thing that greeted me was a tidy waiting area set up right across from the entrance.

Plush vintage fabric sofas, tasteful framed art, and an antique rocking-horse object came together to make it feel like being invited into the lounge of a European mansion.

The inner hall had olive-green classic leather bench sofas paired harmoniously with dark wood tables. Pendant lights on the ceiling cast a soft glow over each table, keeping a calm, upscale mood throughout the meal.

In the center of the store and along the walls, an irregularly shaped wood mirror, purple mushroom-shaped lighting, and lush monstera plants were placed as accent points, making every corner feel like a cute little photo spot.

The self-serve corner had napkins and wet wipes, plus disposable aprons to spare your clothes from splashes, and ordering was easy through the tablet screen at each table, where you could carefully check photos and details of the menu.

The moment I scooped up a big spoonful and put it in my mouth, the deep, savory richness of slow-simmered ground beef and the bright acidity of the tomato sauce came together for a flavor that filled the whole mouth. The chewy cheese and soft pasta sheets made every bite rich and satisfying.

My wife and I kept swapping bites onto our small plates, and before long the big portion had nearly disappeared.

We even scraped up the spicy, salty oil sauce and the ground meat ragu left at the bottom of the bowl with our spoons, completing a perfect empty-plate shot.
