Seomyeon Korean BBQ with 7 grilled vegetables and free corkage: Anmin
In short
Anmin Busan is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Dongcheon-ro in Seomyeon, Busanjin, Busan, where staff grill the meat for you in a dining-bar setting. After parking in the basement of the Samhan Golden Gate building, we had pork belly and pork neck with assorted grilled vegetables such as king oyster mushroom, shiitake, eggplant and paprika, plus pine pollen salt, several sauces, a complimentary steamed egg and free corkage. With private, bamboo-divided seating and staff handling the grill, Anmin Busan suits a Seomyeon date or group dinner.

Today I want to introduce a classy Seomyeon BBQ place with a great atmosphere. It looks stylish from the outside already: Anmin Busan, a Seomyeon Korean BBQ restaurant where the staff grill for you.
Where to park for Anmin Busan in Seomyeon
For parking at Anmin Busan, use the basement parking lot of the Samhan Golden Gate building. The address is 109 Dongcheon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea (1st floor).
Anmin Busan exterior and atmosphere

The exterior of Anmin Busan is done in stone walls and warm wood tones. The stylish look reminds me of a high-end dining bar.

I think it works well both as a date spot and for group gatherings.
Inside Anmin Busan: stone-path waiting area and bamboo-divided seats

The hallway leading into Anmin Busan has a lovely stone path and waiting seats, so even the wait feels cozy. Wine bottles are displayed along the wall, which adds even more to the upscale mood.

Once inside, the bar table seats under intense, alluring red lighting catch your eye. Green bamboo decor naturally divides the space, so you can eat privately without mixing with other guests, which I really liked.
Anmin Busan side dishes and sauces

After you're shown to your seat at Anmin Busan, a neat basic set-up arrives on a wooden tray. Pickles, pa-kimchi (scallion kimchi) and sauces are served with care, so you really feel looked after.

Every table also has a sign explaining how to enjoy Anmin's meat at its best.

For the first bite, dip the meat in pine pollen salt, which carries the natural color of a yellow pine pot, to taste the meat itself. After that you can go through curry soybean powder, zira, shiitake wasabi, salted hairtail guts, fish soy sauce and cheese fondue sauce, so you never get tired of it.
Does Anmin Busan have free corkage?

Corkage is free at Anmin Busan, so you can bring your own wine or whiskey. They even set out glasses and a wine opener for you.
Pork belly and pork neck with 7 grilled vegetables

The pork belly and pork neck we ordered at Anmin Busan arrived, and the thick cuts looked fresh and excellent at a glance. The surface is finely and precisely scored, so the look promises juiciness and texture once grilled.

A generous assortment of garnish vegetables to grill with the meat comes too. The colors are bright and everything looks full of freshness.
- King oyster mushroom
- Shiitake mushroom
- Eggplant
- Yellow bell pepper
- Cherry tomatoes
- Shishito peppers (kkwari-gochu)
- Large green onion
Do the staff grill the meat for you at Anmin Busan?

Yes, the biggest plus of Anmin Busan is that the staff grill all the meat with care from start to finish. The meat and vegetables are cooked to the best doneness with expert skill and then set out neatly and prettily, ready to eat.
The moment you put a properly cooked piece of pork belly or neck in your mouth, the savory juices burst out and you can't help but marvel. Grilled green onion, mushrooms and eggplant with the meat is a fantastic combination.

A soft steamed egg bubbling in an earthenware pot is also included as standard, and it's a great appetite starter before the meat.
