While walking around Cheonhoji Lake in Cheonan, I stumbled onto Geurimseu, a huge café nearby that's already famous as one of the best brunch spots in the area. It's not just brunch, either — it's also a bakery and a dog-friendly café.

True to its reputation as one of Cheonan's large-scale cafés, this place is massive. Beyond the main building, there's an outdoor terrace out back, so the whole space feels really spacious.

Is parking easy at Geurimseu Cafe?

Geurimseu Cafe also has a huge parking lot! Since it's a dog-friendly café, a lot of people probably come by car with their dogs, and with this much parking space, driving here should be totally hassle-free.

The pet entrance and the feel of the room

Geurimseu Cafe is a dog-friendly café! There are two entrances, and one is designated specifically for entering with pets, so dog owners should take note :)

The moment I walked in, I was struck by the interior design and the scale — the space is really well used.

Even though the space is big, it's divided well, so even with a lot of people it doesn't feel crowded — it actually feels quiet and cozy.

There are plants scattered throughout the interior, giving it a bit of an indoor garden feel. I really loved the plant styling.

The tables come in 2-seat, 4-seat, and group sizes, and many seats have outlets, so it seemed like a great space to work on a laptop solo too.

Outdoor terrace and rooftop seats

One of my favorite things about Geurimseu Cafe was the outdoor terrace! Behind the building, there are tiered outdoor seats stacked level by level. On a nice day like this, sipping coffee outside in the cool breeze feels genuinely happy-making.

With the rooftop terrace, outdoor seating, and other varied spaces, I thought it would be great to visit here with a dog too.

Even though it's huge, the café surprisingly feels calm and cozy, which makes it a great Cheonan brunch spot for a date too.

Geurimseu Cafe menu prices and discounts

Geurimseu Cafe runs various promotions. Since there are a lot of universities nearby, they offer a discount for local university students, which seemed really nice :) (lucky students)

The brunch menu has pasta, pizza, risotto, and more. I actually debated getting bread, but since it was past 5pm I was a bit hungry, so I boldly skipped the bread and ordered pizza instead — and that turned out to be such a good call!!!! :)

There's a wide variety of bread, and the prices don't seem too high relative to the size of the loaves. Geurimseu Cafe sells brunch, bakery items, and slice cakes too, so there's a wide range of choices.

Honest review: Margherita pizza and grapefruit ade

At Geurimseu Cafe, ordering an Americano, cold brew, or ade with a brunch item gets you ₩2,000 off! The Americano has no sourness — it's a nutty, fairly rich cup that should suit most palates.

I said earlier that choosing pizza over bread was a great decision — this place is seriously a pizza spot worth knowing about.

They fire it up right after you order, and it comes out tasting like it was baked in a wood-fired oven.

The Margherita pizza wasn't salty or greasy at all, and the basil scattered on top smelled amazing.

The crust is thin but still chewy, so I could enjoy every bite all the way to the edge.

The grapefruit ade I ordered alongside it had so much grapefruit syrup that you could actually chew on bits of grapefruit flesh — sweet and really delicious.

Is Geurimseu Cafe worth the trip?

I highly recommend trying the pizza at Geurimseu Cafe, which is already famous as a top Cheonan brunch spot. I was only kind of hungry when I visited, so ordering pizza felt like it might be overkill, but I'm really glad I did :D The parking is spacious and the café itself is huge, so it's great to visit with a dog too! If you're looking for a Cheonan bakery or brunch spot, I recommend Geurimseu Cafe!
