Why I came to Mellows for dessert after a meal at Seoulsup

After a big meal at Seoulsup, I was craving something sweet, so I stopped by Mellows, an ice cream café near Ttukseom Station. Normally I'd just have an americano, but the dessert ice cream I'd been given after the meal had already woken up my sweet tooth, so an iced americano wasn't going to cut it haha

So I searched for somewhere nearby that sells ice cream and found Mellows, a premium ice cream shop, and I enjoyed a whole range of flavors there ^^

Where is Mellows? Which Ttukseom Station exit is closest?

Mellows is fairly close to Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station. From the Seoulsup restaurant alley, just cross one crosswalk and you reach a quieter, more relaxed street, a nice spot for coffee and ice cream.

Inside Mellows: seating and outdoor tables

The interior is simple but has a few nice touches. There's bar-style seating by the window and 4 outdoor tables in front of the shop. Posters on the wall describe each Sangha Farm (상하목장) ice cream flavor, which made me want to try more of them >.< With the cool weather these days, I bet the outdoor seats are popular.

Mellows menu: ice cream, and highballs too?

The ice cream menu is mango, milk, matcha, peanut butter, peach and strawberry. There are ice creams with various toppings on rich Sangha Farm milk ice cream, plus americano, café latte and vanilla latte made with quality beans.

I also spotted something labeled an evening menu, and they sell highballs and more, not just Sangha Farm ice cream?! There are tables set up out front, so with the cool autumn breeze these days it'd be a nice place for a casual drink!

Fruit toppings sold out, so 4 basic soft serves instead

Sadly, the ice creams with fruit toppings were already sold out at Mellows, so I went with the basic menu. I ordered 4 soft serves: chocolate, peanut butter, Jeju matcha and affogato.

It's 100% Sangha Farm milk ice cream done the basic way, and what can I say, the rich, nutty flavor can't possibly fail haha

Granola and crunch at the bottom: how to mix it in

Mellows' soft serve isn't just drizzled with syrup on top. Granola cereal, crunch and more are layered at the bottom, so it gets even more nutty the more you chew. Eat the smooth soft serve for a while, then mix it up from about halfway through, and you get the chewy texture and double the fun ^^

The rich, deep Sangha Farm milk ice cream with all these toppings added makes for an even fuller flavor ^^

Is Mellows worth recommending as a Seoulsup dessert stop?

Mellows is great for trying premium Sangha Farm milk ice cream with a rich milk flavor, and also for enjoying soft serve together with coffee made from quality beans. It's a Seoulsup-style café and ice cream shop in one ^^
