Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon is on the 3rd floor of a building on Yanghwa-ro 6-gil in Hapjeong, open from 11 AM to 8 PM. So this time we visited a shop called Arish in Hapjeong.

The moment you walk in, it's lined with bleach and dye, in a really wide range of colors. Most of the designers here have bleached hair themselves, and it's gorgeous!

The shop is super clean, with a sleek silver look. We went in the morning, so it was quiet and we could be taken care of at a relaxed pace.

By the way, Arish is said to specialize in platinum blonde bleach and design color. They have a YouTube channel too, so the owner seems to be a YouTuber! Hapjeong Muse is the second branch. They were probably so popular that they expanded. That alone certifies their skill, right?

Is it okay to get a men's perm at a bleach specialist?

Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon specializes in bleaching, but it does men's perms too. A perm here? Honestly, I wondered if it'd be okay too, but a place this trendy seemed like it would be fine, so I booked. They do men's perms, so there's no problem visiting for one.

How did the men's hippie perm consultation go?

At Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon, we showed photos of the hair we wanted, talked it through with the designer, then started. Today's designer was Chaeri, and she was super cute! Could she match the opinions of my picky husband...! We brought phone photos, explained the style we wanted, and went ahead after talking it through.

He did a self-perm on his own and wrecked all his hair..

You can tell at a glance that it's super frizzy.. He actually ruined it doing the perm himself this time, haha. So he was really stressed about his hair.

It felt frizzy overall and the layers didn't match. I used to help him with perming, but this time I was busy and couldn't, and this is what happened;;

What is the men's hippie perm process, and how long does it take?

The men's hippie perm at Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon went in this order: shampoo, cut, perm, heat treatment, down perm. As soon as you arrive, they start by washing your hair.

The designer seemed like she'd do a thorough job, which put me at ease somehow. She seemed calm yet looked at the hair in detail.

The cut was neat too. His hair.. clearly needed a designer's touch, I felt that deeply. After coming back from the salon he said he has to save money hard and come to a salon more often, haha.

Oh, I could already feel something good coming. And aren't the Arish gown and pillow just too hip and pretty, haha.

While we waited, they gave us tons of snacks and coffee. I've never seen a shop give out this many snacks, haha. I was low on sugar anyway, so I was really grateful.

How long does a men's perm take?

The men's hippie perm with heat treatment and down perm at Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon took about 1 hour 30 minutes. I'd expected 3 to 4 hours for a men's perm, so it finished sooner than I thought. Even with the heat treatment and down perm, it took only about 1 hour 30 minutes!

So I'd leave about 2 hours free. On weekends or busy times, it may take longer.

This guy.. I can already tell he likes his hair, haha. I blurred his face because I'd probably get an earful if I posted it, but his mouth corners curled up and he looked pleased, haha.

Also, designers often finish by slicking the hair back very neatly, but Chaeri styled it just right for daily wear! That was my favorite part, haha. Usually after a salon visit, you often don't like it on the same day. But with Chaeri's work, we liked it even on the same day.

How did the men's hippie perm turn out?

The men's hippie perm at Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon brought the curls back so much that the before and after were very different. Wow, the before and after difference in the curls was huge. I'm satisfied that she styled it so prettily! I was totally satisfied.

Oh my.. the curls look so pretty from the side too. Since the sides were pressed down well with the down perm, the hair on top looked even prettier.

Seriously, this is why you have to go to a salon, I learned it again firsthand. Thank you for styling his hair so beautifully.

Hair that looked pretty outdoors too

We went on a date right after the hippie perm at Arish Hapjeong Muse Hair Salon, and his hair looked pretty even outside. Kyaa, and we went on our date like that. His hair looked so pretty outdoors. My husband is really picky, but that day he said he loved his hair about a hundred times, even on the same day.

He's really sensitive about his hair, haha. But if he's satisfied, I'll admit it..!

The curls looked so pretty from the side that his face seemed to look better too. It's a place that's good at men's perms, not just bleach and dye. As expected, my data wasn't wrong!
