Moss, near Euljiro 3-ga Station, was a traditional-liquor bar that nailed everything from the atmosphere to the bar food. Euljiro has so many distinctive bars that it's hard to decide where to go sometimes T_T There are just so many hip places, haha.

But there's one place I liked so much last time that I went back with a friend. It's Moss, the bar near Euljiro 3-ga Station.

There are plenty of bars with a good mood, but when you actually go, the food is often disappointing. Moss has a unique atmosphere, a wide variety of traditional liquors and, above all, really delicious food. It's not a one-and-done place, it's somewhere you keep thinking about, you know? Haha. It satisfied me again this time, so I wanted to introduce it.
Why do I recommend Moss near Euljiro 3-ga Station as a date spot?
The space itself is unusual, so if you like Euljiro's signature hip vibe, I think you'll like it. A lot of bars these days have similar interiors, but from the moment you step into Moss, the mood was clearly different from anywhere else.

It felt less like a place you come just to drink and more like heading out to somewhere special. So I personally really recommend it as a date course in Euljiro.
If you're meeting someone for the first time or still getting to know each other, a bar with a good mood matters more than you'd think. Moss's space is so unique that it's fun to look around, and I felt it would naturally give you things to talk about. I came with a friend this time, but next time I'd like to come with my husband too.
What traditional Korean liquors can you drink at Moss?

Another thing I liked about Moss was the variety of traditional liquors. At most bars you end up ordering soju or beer, but at Moss it's fun to browse and pick traditional liquors you don't usually come across.

Honestly, I was amazed all over again that there are so many kinds, haha. When you say traditional liquor, it's easy to think only of makgeolli (milky rice wine), but the aroma and flavor differ by type, so finding one that suits your taste was fun. If you go with a friend, picking different drinks and trying each other's would be great too.
And above all, the traditional liquors really suited Moss's atmosphere. It felt different from drinking them at an ordinary bar, and thanks to that even a normal night out felt a little special.
Is the bar food at Moss good enough to revisit?

The biggest reason I came back to Moss is honestly the food. However good the atmosphere, you wouldn't go back if the food were bad. Moss's dishes came out really neat, and the taste was better than I expected.

I liked it from the moment the food arrived. The plating was clean and felt carefully prepared, so you enjoy it with your eyes first. But it wasn't food that only looks good. One bite and I think you'll understand right away why I came back, haha.

Is it okay to go with someone who doesn't drink much?
Personally, bar food is often too salty or intense, and I get sick of it after a few bites, but Moss's food was good to enjoy on its own. Eating it slowly alongside traditional liquor was a nice combination too. I think a place like Moss is fine even with someone who doesn't drink much. The food is tasty, so it works as a meal with a light drink.

I remembered the food from my last visit because I liked it so much, and that's why I brought my friend this time. It'd be embarrassing to bring a friend and have it turn out meh, haha. Luckily, we ate well again this time.
Looking for a bar with a good mood in Euljiro? How about Moss?
Euljiro has so many famous bars, but I think there aren't that many you actually end up revisiting.

For me, Moss was satisfying on both atmosphere and food. I think it suits people who want a different kind of date in an unusual space, or who want to try a variety of traditional liquors. Above all, I'd give it high marks for the tasty food.
A place with only a good mood is enough for one visit, but at Moss I kept thinking about the food and came back. If you're looking for a bar near Euljiro 3-ga Station with a good atmosphere and tasty bites, Moss is worth a visit. Like me, you might go once and end up coming back with a friend, haha.
