I went for some healing on a rainy afternoon at a garden-view spot I love — here's my review of Baedagol Bakery House.
Through the wide floor-to-ceiling windows, colorful chrysanthemums, outdoor parasols, and a lush green garden spread out in front of you, so the moment you walk in, your mind just relaxes. This place isn't just about good bread — the garden view stretching out beyond the glass is genuinely beautiful.

The first thing that caught my eye at Baedagol Bakery House was the garden view from the window seats.
Through the wide-open glass, colorful chrysanthemums in bloom, green plants, and charming outdoor parasol seats came together beautifully — just sitting there felt like resting in nature. On a nice day, sitting on the terrace with a breeze while enjoying dessert would be the perfect spot.

There's a corner set up with water, a microwave, and syrup for customers' convenience.
We got there around 2pm, and there was no more bread. T_T I asked if more was coming out... but they said no more today, what's displayed is all there is. T_T It was disappointing to have so few options.
Second floor

This is the window view from the second floor. With the rain, it had a lovely atmosphere.
The outdoor area is run as a no-kids zone for children's safety.

We took a window seat and ordered an americano, TWG Geisha Blossom iced tea, and two bakery items.

• TWG Geisha Blossom iced tea: a luxurious-looking yellow tea bag steeps in this, and a fragrant peach aroma with a subtle floral note spreads refreshingly. One sip and your palate feels completely reset with a clean, refreshing feel — it paired really well with the sweet bakery items.
• Hot americano: served in a mug with the café's logo, it was freshly extracted with an impressively rich crema on top. The heavy, nutty flavor balanced out the sweetness of the bread.
Nutty meets sweet: the walnut mocha
This bread caught my eye at first sight, with sliced almonds generously piled on and baked to a golden brown.
On the first bite, the crunchy, nutty flavor of the nuts hits first, and when you cut into it with a fork, there's a moist, sweet green filling — bean paste? cream? — packed inside. Crispy and nutty on the outside, chewy and sweet on the inside — a flavor everyone, young and old, would love.
A must for chocolate lovers: the chocolate pound cake
This seems like a great dessert for chocolate lovers. The surface is covered in thick, almost dripping chocolate, studded with chocolate chips — just looking at it made me happy.
Cut in half, the inside is also packed with nuts and chocolate bits, so every bite fills your mouth with a rich, luxurious chocolate flavor.
Verdict: would I go back to Baedagol Bakery House?
Baedagol Bakery House let me enjoy some downtime with a beautiful garden view, plus the quality of the carefully baked bread and well-made drinks was satisfying too.
I also picked up salt bread and basil tomato baguette for my bread-loving family. Today it rained and I got to enjoy the moist scenery through the window, so now I'm curious what it's like on a sunny day. I'm planning to come back soon with family or friends for another healing trip.
