Side dishes and the personal sauce setup
My sibling's treating us to beef with their severance pay! I'm washing my hands with excitement, waiting.

As expected from a nicely atmospheric BBQ place near Maebong Station, the side dishes came out clean and neat :) A great atmosphere for treating someone. On the personal side: salt, wasabi, and shiitake mushroom sauce (this one's a hidden gem, genuinely delicious!), plus a variety of side dishes — the pickled pepper strips were especially good.

True to its reputation as a corkage-free beef BBQ spot near Yangjae Stream and Maebong Station, they gave us hutgae sticks! The wine glasses were Spiegelau, too!
Dad, the youngest at heart among us (?), did this toast move he learned from somewhere lol so cute, right?!

Woosang Hwarogui Gangnam Maebong Station Branch's signature menu, the assorted beef platter, comes with chamjin-sal, angeomi-sal, gadak-galbi along with grilled vegetables and a pile of green onions. The staff told us to eat in this order: chamjin-sal, then angeomi-sal, then gadak-galbi.

Finally, the long-awaited signature menu of this Yangjae Stream beef BBQ spot: the assorted platter!

The color of the meat alone is insane at this Maebong Station beef spot~ The cuts include chamjin-sal, angeomi-sal, gadak-galbi plus grilled vegetables and a pile of green onions — such a solid spread.

It was great being able to try all of Woosang Hwarogui's signature cuts at once, and it looked gorgeous too — perfect for a date, family gathering, or work dinner near Maebong Station, right? Everyone was busy taking photos saying how pretty and delicious it looked lol.

I wondered what the 'pile of green onions' would be — turns out it's literally a pile of green onions...! Dip it well in soy sauce and eat it with the fatty beef — the combination is an art :)

They told us to eat chamjin-sal, then angeomi-sal, then gadak-galbi — good charcoal plus good-quality beef equals impossibly delicious. Plus the clean, varied side dishes kept things from getting repetitive!!!!! Endless beef going in... I love it.

The grilled vegetables were also a great side treat, and the wine went down so smoothly~~

I love galbi the most. The beef quality is so good that even without sauce, the savory galbi flavor was outstanding...

Woosang Hwarogui, a beef spot near Maebong Station — once the meat quality was confirmed, we decided to try more cuts and ordered extra sirloin. And sure enough, the sirloin didn't disappoint...
Egg yolk soy sauce rice, Hamhung cold noodles and doenjang stew
The egg yolk soy sauce rice at Woosang Hwarogui Gangnam Maebong Station Branch was unusual enough that I had to try it — it had a sweet flavor that paired well even with a piece of meat on top. The Hamhung cold noodles and doenjang stew didn't miss either.
I tried the egg yolk soy sauce rice out of curiosity! This is so good?! Kids would absolutely love this too, and it's sweet enough that topping it with a piece of meat works great.

The doenjang stew and cold noodles were both delicious, no complaints!! If I'm looking for beef near Maebong Station again, I'll definitely come back!
Dessert: Excellent ice cream with salt, pepper and olive oil
The final dessert was Excellent ice cream, and at Woosang Hwarogui Gangnam Maebong Station Branch they even give you salt, pepper, and olive oil on the house.
