Apgujeong Rodeo pasta and risotto sharing dinner: People the Terrace
In short
People the Terrace is a Cheongdam-area dining restaurant on Dosan-daero 81-gil, by Apgujeong Rodeo Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Three of us ordered gochujang butter carbonara at 27,000 won, a fried chicken bucket at 35,000 won and the mushroom cream truffle risotto with steak at 33,000 won all at once and shared them, and of the three the porcini mushroom cream risotto was the most memorable. People the Terrace is worth recommending for a dinner where you order several dishes and split them.

A dinner review from People the Terrace, a dining restaurant near Apgujeong Rodeo in the Cheongdam area. It had been a while since I'd had dinner around Apgujeong Rodeo :) I was in the mood for pasta or risotto somewhere with a nice atmosphere, went searching, and came across People the Terrace. The Cheongdam area has so many pretty dining spots that it's hard to decide where to go, but this place had a varied menu and a good vibe, so it worked well for dinner.

What we ordered at People the Terrace and what it cost
We each picked a dish and ended up ordering three items in total.
- Gochujang Butter Carbonara ₩27,000
- Fried Chicken Bucket ₩35,000
- Mushroom Cream Truffle Risotto & Steak ₩33,000
One pasta, one chicken, and one risotto — we decided to share everything and try a bit of each 🤎

Gochujang butter carbonara, 27,000 won
The first thing we tried was the Gochujang Butter Carbonara. It's pasta made with gochujang (Korean red chili paste) butter using Bongsuk gochujang, layered with rich cream.

It definitely felt different from a regular carbonara. The distinct gochujang flavor came through subtly, adding a touch of savoriness rather than making it feel heavy.

The cream sauce clung thickly to the noodles, so you ended up eating the sauce along with the pasta. If you usually like cream pasta, this is a fun twist to try.
Crispy fried chicken bucket, 35,000 won
We also ordered the Fried Chicken Bucket as a kind of side dish 🍗 It's described as American-style homemade fried chicken, and it was crispier than I expected — really good.

The outside was crispy and the inside was juicy, so it was tasty even on its own, but dipping it in the sauce that came with it added a whole other layer of flavor. For fried chicken like this, I care a lot about whether the sauce is good, and this one suited my taste perfectly. Eating only pasta or risotto can feel a bit repetitive, but having chicken in between made the combination work really well haha.
Best of the three: mushroom cream truffle risotto with steak
And the dish I enjoyed most that day was the Mushroom Cream Truffle Risotto & Steak. It's risotto made with porcini mushroom cream, sautéed with an assortment of mushrooms, topped with 1++ grade Korean beef steak.

First off, I loved how strong the mushroom aroma was. The cream sauce blended beautifully with the risotto for a rich, savory flavor, and with the mushrooms added on top, the overall depth was really good. You could also eat the steak on top along with it, so a single plate delivered several different flavors. Out of the three dishes we tried, this risotto was personally my favorite! If you like mushrooms, I think you'll be quite satisfied with this one :)

What dinner feels like on the Apgujeong Rodeo terrace

Sharing three dishes that day — pasta, chicken, and risotto — meant we got to taste a bit of everything, which was great. The Gochujang Butter Carbonara gave a familiar cream pasta a distinctive twist with the gochujang butter, and the fried chicken won us over with its crispy texture and sauce. And the one that stuck with me most was, of course, the mushroom cream risotto 🤎

This is a good place to stop by whenever you want to eat somewhere with a nice atmosphere around Cheongdam or Apgujeong Rodeo. Ordering several dishes to share makes the meal even more fun.
Out of the three dishes, the one that stuck with me most was the risotto, with its irresistible deep mushroom aroma 🤎
📍 People the Terrace — a dining spot in Cheongdam that's great for eating in style. From pasta to chicken to risotto, there's a wide range of dishes to share, and it was fun picking a few to split between us.

Is People the Terrace worth it for a shared dinner?
Of the three dishes we ordered that day, the Mushroom Cream Truffle Risotto & Steak was the best! The porcini mushroom cream and the depth of mushroom flavor really won me over, and the fried chicken was great too, with its crispy texture and tasty accompanying sauce. The Gochujang Butter Carbonara also had its own charm apart from a typical cream pasta, so it's a good pick if you're in the mood to try something different :)
