A classical café that blends into the riverside woods

Waltz and Dr. Mahn is already so famous as a Dumulmeori café that just hearing the name tells you what it is, and one of its strengths is how beautifully it blends with nature. The building's color, the red brick steps, the wooden door, the blue sky, and the Bukhan River all come together like a painting.

At the main counter, a collection of classic teacups is on display — the atmosphere alone felt like it could get you drunk on rich aroma before you'd even had a sip of coffee.

At Waltz and Dr. Mahn, no matter where you sit, the Bukhan River comes into full, refreshing view. With classical music playing, it was a great place to relax over coffee and quiet conversation.

After you sit down, a staff member comes to take your order with a politeness and warmth that feels almost built in. Getting a glass of water at a café is practically unimaginable these days, but Waltz and Dr. Mahn prepared one for us.

It wasn't too cold, coming as it did before the drinks and food arrived — just the right temperature to wet your mouth and freshen up. A place that does things exactly by the book!

Waltz and Dr. Mahn, a coffee house with a hundred-year legacy, has 18 kinds of drip coffee — today I ordered a cappuccino.

Milk foam and cinnamon powder gave it a refined flavor — a cappuccino made with good beans! It tasted just like the cappuccino I had in Sofia, Eastern Europe. To think I'd taste that beloved Bulgarian coffee flavor again at a Dumulmeori café like Waltz and Dr. Mahn ~ this place isn't famous just by name, it genuinely knows how to pull a great cup of coffee, so of course people who know their coffee keep coming back ♡ And each kind of drip coffee comes in a different teacup, adding even more variety to the experience~~

100% fresh-squeezed orange juice. The tang and sweetness were exactly right, just like a real fresh orange.

Not too sweet, with true cheese flavor! An excellent choice, the camembert cheesecake. Eating the best things first, everything we ordered tasted great, and with cozy wide couches to relax on while enjoying nature and conversation, it was a time full of laughter.

Antiques and decor worth a closer look

Since 1989, there's fun in examining every little piece, and the antique decor was quite fascinating. Above all, the couches and tables are so spacious that there's real distance between you and the next table — you could feel the owner's thoughtfulness there, making sure guests feel comfortable.
