Sinhaeburi Hoejip is a seafood restaurant on Daepo-hang-gil in Sokcho, Gangwon, where I ordered the small assorted sashimi platter during my trip. It came with flounder, olive flounder, mullet, yellowtail, mulhoe, and plentiful seafood sides; I was too full to try the included spicy fish stew.
Goeum Hair Salon is a hair salon in Seohae, Incheon, where I had gray coverage in shade 7 and the back line of my short cut cleaned up. The quiet, appointment-priority visit and the careful color consultation were satisfying, especially the shampoo-room acupressure.
Jin Seiromushi is a Korean restaurant in Joyang-dong, Sokcho, where I had soy-marinated red crab and shrimp set meals. The individual pot rice, varied side dishes, spacious parking, and a reserved six-person room made the meal comfortable, and the soy sauce tasted less salty than it looked to me.
Samhyeongje Gimbap, Sangam branch is a gimbap restaurant in the basement of Nuritkum Square in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. I tried the original and tuna yubu gimbap; the original was a little salty for me, while the tuna version had a better balance and more filling tuna.
Ichiba Ramen is a ramen restaurant on Jungang-ro in Sokcho, near Yeongnangho Lake. I tried the rich but not greasy tonkotsu ramen and miso ramen with an extra egg; the fried vegetables on the miso ramen stood out, and the bar seating looked suitable for solo diners.
