Jonggak date restaurant with uni butter spaghettini: Schedule Osteria

In short

Schedule Osteria is an Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor of the iM Financial Center, between Jonggak and Euljiro 1-ga stations in Jung-gu, Seoul. Two diners ordered three dishes by kiosk — uni butter spaghettini at 35,000 won, prime chuck flap risotto at 34,000 won and honey cod steak at 32,000 won — and finished every plate. Floor-to-ceiling window views and a polished dining room make Schedule Osteria an easy recommendation for a date dinner in Jonggak.

Where is Schedule Osteria, and what are its hours?

Schedule Osteria is located on the 2nd floor, room 202, of the iM Financial Center at 125 Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul. Hours are 11:00–22:00, with a break time from 15:30 to 17:00.

Inside Schedule Osteria: the window-lined room for a Jonggak date

Schedule Osteria is near Euljiro Ipgu, so it's super accessible! Just head up to the 2nd floor of the building haha.

If you're looking for a Jonggak date restaurant, I highly recommend this place — the vibe is really nice and pretty!

Interior seating with floor-to-ceiling windows

There are also large tables like this one, which look great for bigger groups.

There's a big floor-to-ceiling window with a nice view, and the whole atmosphere feels upscale and pretty.

There's even a stone statue haha. Since I'd made a reservation, my table was already set up and ready.

How kiosk ordering works and what is on the menu

At Schedule Osteria you order through a kiosk like this. The mains include octopus, prawns, cuttlefish, abalone, and honey cod steak — such a wide variety that it was hard to choose ㅠㅠ

There's salad and arancini too, and even hanwoo (Korean beef) carpaccio!! It's 2+ grade hanwoo, so it can't possibly be bad.

For pairings, there were French fries, onion soup, and gambas too.

There are so many types of pasta too!! Tagliatelle, gnocchi, and plain pasta varieties — there were so many I honestly wanted to order everything.

There's risotto too, and quite a few spaghetti options.

There were even four kinds of dessert.

They also have drinks, so you could skip a second-round café and just stay here haha.

The three dishes two of us ordered, with prices

  • Uni butter spaghettini — ₩35,000
  • Prime chuck flap risotto — ₩34,000
  • Honey cod steak — ₩32,000

Ta-da! These are the three dishes we ordered, and honestly the visuals alone were so pretty. The one in front is the chuck flap risotto.

Uni butter spaghettini, 35,000 won

First up, the uni butter spaghettini! Fresh spaghettini noodles finished with top-grade sea urchin and a butter sauce.

Piled high with uni on top!! The butter sauce underneath was such a bright yellow too. They asked if I wanted to take a photo before mixing it — so thoughtful of them haha.

They chopped up the uni finely and mixed it in for us like this.

The uni and butter sauce blended together so harmoniously — the flavor and richness were amazing. The butter sauce soaked into the pasta really well, so it was delicious. ♥

Honey cod steak, 32,000 won

Next, the honey cod! A classic Spanish dish finished with cod steak, honey, cherry tomato sauce, and garlic aioli.

The cod was so tender the knife glided right through it, and it was incredibly moist.

On top, it was drizzled with aioli sauce and honey, so it was savory with amazing depth, plus the honey added sweetness — really delicious.

The cod was so soft and moist it just melted away haha.

The sauce on the honey cod was so good on its own that I just devoured it, hehe.

Prime chuck flap risotto, 34,000 won

Last, the prime chuck flap steak risotto!! Chuck flap grilled over charcoal with a tarae sauce glaze, served with a chapssalbori (glutinous barley) risotto flavored with seasonal greens. Topped with wasabi foam.

The visual on this one is so clean and pretty! The chuck flap on top was really tender and had that sweet-and-savory balance — delicious. ♥

The rice grains had a nice subtle bite to them. The cream had a Grana Padano cheese flavor! That distinctive funky cheese taste really came through.

If you like a thick, rich texture, you'll love this!

The chuck flap was slightly cooled by this point, but it was still super delicious, tender, and well-seasoned.

The wasabi foam on top wasn't too strong, so it worked well!

Are three dishes too much for two people?

It was so good we scraped the plates clean haha. That's the highest compliment, right? Three dishes between two people wasn't actually that much food! We went and got dessert afterward haha.
