Yeonnam-dong café with work seats and Ethiopia Limited drip: Central

Today I want to recommend a café in Yeonnam-dong! I'm sharing it along with a bunch of tips, so take note before you visit ><

Where is Central Site Yeonnam and what are the hours?

Central Site Yeonnam is at 29-1 Yeonhui-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and it's open 08:00-20:00.

What does Central Site Yeonnam look like inside and out?

The exterior is pretty big, so it caught my eye even while walking past — and once inside, the space was bigger than I expected, which I loved!!

The first floor has the brewing bar where coffee is made and a roasting space, and the second floor has seating where you can sit comfortably and drink your coffee! Apparently there's also a rooftop on the third floor.

You can also take some time to smell the beans here, and they let us test several different single-origin beans.

As you can see from the menu, there were really so many kinds of tiramisu.

They seem to have a really wide variety of beans as well.

The vibe on the second floor was great, and the window seats had such good atmosphere too.

We considered sitting there, but since we needed to work, it wasn't the most comfortable spot for us.

You can go up and down between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors via the stairs.

Central Site Yeonnam menu and prices

The menu had really a wide variety of coffees, and for dessert there were so many kinds of tiramisu.

Some coffees go up to nearly 13,000 won, which might make you wonder why it's so expensive, but there really were so many different coffees and bean brands, and you could tell how much care went into it — I felt it was worth the price.

This is what the two of us ordered.

We went with brewing coffee, and since the flavor and aroma differ by bean, there was fun in choosing which one to drink! If you love coffee, picking a bean that suits your taste seems like a great idea.

The coffee overall was clean with a well-perceived aroma, and it paired even better with the tiramisu!

The tiramisu's cream was soft yet quite rich, and the coffee cleaned the palate nicely in between bites! Highly recommend for anyone who likes coffee with acidity.

How did the classic tiramisu taste?

And then the tiramisu 🍰 I'd been looking forward to — Central Site Yeonnam is apparently famous for its tiramisu, so I really wanted to try it, and sure enough, it was delicious.!!!

The cream is soft with a dense feel, and the sponge inside is moist with coffee soaked through, so with each bite the coffee aroma rises up gently haha.

The chocolate on top also gave it some bite, so the texture wasn't boring at all!! Personally I prefer tiramisu with a strong coffee flavor over something too light or sweet, and this one suited my taste perfectly. As expected, having it together with coffee is the best combination ☕️🤎

Most of all, the café was spacious and never felt stuffy, so it was nice to sit there at ease. This is a great spot in Yeonnam-dong when you want good coffee and dessert together! Next time I want to try a different bean :)
