I went on a trip to Sokcho and Goseong in Gangwon-do~ I wandered all around Sokcho Jungang Market looking for food, and wow! A delicious smell led me right in~

Oh! I was torn over whether to have dinner at Seomin Gapbu Ttokine Twigim, a Sokcho Jungang Market food spot~ The weather was chilly, so I was really craving a quick takeaway dinner back at the accommodation, where I could relax with soju, beer, and dongdongju (cloudy rice wine) ㅠㅠ So we took another walk around and decided to take out from this place with the queue!

There was a packed selection of different fried foods, plus the care they put into grating the potatoes themselves. While I was in line, it moved quickly, and I loved seeing how fast and efficiently they packed everything up~

After looking up reviews, I saw that the nurungji egg-battered squid sundae was especially a must-try, so of course I thought it had to be included~ It is inside the market, but hearing that it was clean, friendly, delicious, and good value made it even better~ I would come back myself, so it was perfect!

I loved the generous portions and variety, and since there was an event on, I even received sweet pumpkin sikhye (sweet rice punch) for leaving a receipt review—calling the value perfect seems fair! The gamjajeon (potato pancake) was wonderfully soft and moist too! The Abai sundae was packed full, chewy, and delicious!

Back at the accommodation, I plated everything up for dinner~ Every item ordered from Seomin Gapbu Ttokine Twigim in Sokcho Jungang Market looked so incredibly appetizing!

The crispy fried squid sundae with gamjajeon and dongdongju was even more delicious; it was chewy and richly aromatic, which I loved! The Abai sundae went so well with it too, making this a menu selection that was exactly my taste!

Seomin Gapbu Ttokine Twigim in Sokcho Jungang Market was easy to find inside the market, and with so many ways to enjoy the appeal of squid sundae, along with healthy, fresh ingredients, it is a great food spot I need to save for another visit!
