Dog-friendly Gwangalli brunch with mushroom soup and yogurt bowl
In short
Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is an Australian-style brunch café in Suyeong, Busan, about a 10-minute walk from Gwangalli Beach, with indoor dog-friendly seating. The writer ordered The Famous Benny (salmon), Egg in Hell, and mushroom soup with her sister and dog, plus a free mini yogurt bowl from the Naver notification perk. The spread was plenty filling for two, and the mushroom soup came with two pieces of bread, making it satisfying even on its own.

Was trying to figure out lunch in Gwangalli when I thought of Famous Benny, a brunch café I'd been to a few times before and always enjoyed. This time I went with my sister and our dog땅콩 (Ttangkong). It's about a 10-minute walk from Gwangalli Beach and there's a public parking lot nearby, so it's easy to drop by casually.

First floor or second floor — which is better?
Famous Benny has a first and second floor, and the second floor is bigger with more roomy tables! It was full so I felt a bit awkward taking photos, but you can check my earlier post for that. My favorite spot is this one on the first floor... ♥

What we ordered for two
Our delicious lineup: [The Famous Benny (salmon), Egg in Hell (shakshuka), mushroom soup] plus a mini yogurt bowl from the Naver notification perk! Ordering this much for two of us made us completely stuffed, haha.

Mushroom soup, with two pieces of bread
These are my two favorite main items at Famous Benny! This time I wanted something warm, so I added the mushroom soup too — it's a creamy soup packed with mushroom flavor, so good I wanted to stock it at home. It comes with two pieces of bread, so it'd be fine as a simple meal on its own for anyone who wants something light.

The Famous Benny: salmon or bacon, which is better?
The main dish, The Famous Benny!! You can choose between salmon and bacon, and this time I went with salmon. Personally I think bacon is tastier, haha! At the bottom there's a big croissant split in half, topped with plenty of avocado, egg, and vegetables. The egg wasn't fully cooked but soft and moist, which I loved.

Egg in Hell and the mini yogurt bowl
Egg in Hell — another dish my sister and I both love! The sauce is so tasty without being too spicy that we scraped every last bit of bread and sauce off the plate, haha.
The mini yogurt we got from signing up for Naver notifications! It was the perfect light finish after brunch. If you leave a Naver receipt review you also get a blueberry(?) toast, so keep that in mind too — hope you have a great Gwangalli date!!
