Gijang pot rice restaurant near Lotte Outlets, free corkage: Dongam

Dongam Tteokgalbi (동암떡갈비) is a Korean restaurant serving tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) with pot rice, on the 3rd floor of 160 Gijanghaean-ro near Lotte Premium Outlets in Gijang, Busan. The writer ordered the cheese cream tteokgalbi, the house Dongam tteokgalbi and the cheongyang mayo tteokgalbi (with spicy Korean green chili), paired with freshly cooked pot rice and unlimited self-bar side dishes, and was pleased with the subtle charcoal aroma and the clean dining room. For a hearty Korean set meal after shopping at Lotte Outlets in Gijang, Dongam Tteokgalbi is a good fit.

Yeonsan-dong family restaurant with parking: kalguksu and pork cutlet

Sinseon Myeonga (신선면가) is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant in Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje, Busan, that also serves pork cutlet and bossam (boiled pork slices). The writer drove there with a child and ordered anchovy kalguksu, a diner-style pork cutlet and bossam served with tofu, and also tried the free sample of sundae (Korean blood sausage) that came out first. Sinseon Myeonga is a good Yeonsan-dong pick when family members want different dishes, and drivers need to phone the restaurant to open the gate of the parking lot behind it.
