Cheese-pull pizza and gochu fried chicken in Sinjung-dong: P&Chick

This time I visited P&Chick in Sinjung-dong, Bucheon, a place with a genuinely wide-ranging menu — pizza, pasta, pork cutlet, and chicken all under one roof.

I ordered three things this time: potato pizza, gochu (shishito pepper) fried chicken, and Tuscan cream oven pasta. My dad, my fiancé, and I went as a group of three and left completely stuffed.

P&Chick's location and atmosphere

P&Chick sits on the 1st floor of the Doosan We've the State commercial building, not far from Sinjung-dong Station. We happened to get a window seat, and with the floor-to-ceiling glass opening up the view, it was great for enjoying the weekend afternoon weather.

The interior was bigger than I expected. The tables were set for four, but the space felt roomy enough to handle a bigger group comfortably too. Since I went on a weekend, there were a lot of families around, and with a menu that covers pizza, chicken, pork cutlet, and pasta — things that appeal to all ages — it seemed like a great pick for eating out when everyone wants something different.

There was also wine and liquor set up on one side, so it looked good not just for family meals but also for a light evening drink with food. Every table had a tablet for checking the menu and ordering right from your seat, and the owner was especially kind. The taste of the food matters, of course, but good service while you eat really does leave you with a better impression of a place.

Of everything we ate, the pizza felt genuinely generous with cheese — the moment I lifted a slice, the cheese stretched out endlessly, haha. Not just one or two strands either — it kept connecting between the pizza and the plate, stretching way longer than I expected. While taking photos I kept thinking, how far is this actually going to stretch...? Lol. I missed the timing for a shot and couldn't capture the cheese at its fullest stretch, which is a bit of a shame. Ordering the pizza also got us a garlic sauce on the side, which was a really nice touch.

Rich and creamy Tuscan oven pasta

The pasta came out in a wide bowl with a generous amount of sauce, topped with arugula and cheese. Mixing in the cheese well made it richer and even more flavorful.

Gochu fried chicken — a yes if you like spicy

And the gochu (shishito pepper) fried chicken, which I ordered out of curiosity, was incredibly crispy — such a clean golden color that it was hard to imagine how carefully they must keep the frying oil. The peppers fried alongside it were spicier than I expected, but they cut through the richness of the chicken, which made them oddly addictive, lol. As someone who likes spicy food, this was a definite yes for me, though it might need some caution if you're eating with kids. Ordering the fried chicken also came with a seasoning sauce on the side, and dipping the fried chicken into it while eating felt like an extra treat, haha.

From family meals to an evening drink

P&Chick felt less like a place you go for one specific dish and more like a spot where a group can each pick what they're craving and share it together. With crowd-pleasing options like pork cutlet, pizza, pasta, and chicken, it seemed like a solid choice for eating out with kids too. In the evening, it also looked like a good spot to order pizza or chicken with a beer or wine on the side. The casual vibe of the place made it easy to eat comfortably without needing to dress things up.
