Seoul family theme park in Nowon: a 6-hour weekday morning at Jump

This time, instead of a restaurant post, I'm bringing you an indoor activity outing I did with my kid.

We went to Jump, which is also well known as a Nowon date-spot theme park. We visited on a weekday morning and ended up playing for a full 6 hours haha.

Jump in Nowon: location, hours and parking

Jump is at 102 Hangeulbiseok-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, and it's walkable from Hagye Station on subway Line 7. It's open Tue–Sun 10:00–18:00, closed every Monday.

Why a weekday morning at Jump is the quiet, better time

Since we went on a weekday morning, parking was easy haha. The inside was equally quiet, so we could enjoy playing comfortably with my kid.

Adults and kids pay the same price here, which felt noticeably different from a typical kids' café. It's a space where adults can move their bodies and play too, so it's great for a date or a hangout with friends — I had a blast playing with my kid too hahaha.

I hadn't been exercising much, so I had muscle soreness for a few days after haha, but it was such a new and exciting experience that it was totally worth it!!

How much do Jump activity passes cost?

Here's the Jump activity pass price chart (preview discount rates at the time of visit).

These rates are discounted preview-period prices. After the official opening, prices may change, so please check again before you visit!! I heard prices will go up 30% once the preview period ends in October, so keep that in mind!!!

Sneakers are required for the activities! If you don't have any, rental indoor shoes are ₩8,000.

You also have to fill out a consent form before entering, so keep that in mind haha.

What you see the moment you walk into Jump

After getting our tickets, there was a fountain in front of the box office, so we watched a music fountain show before heading in.

The first thing that caught my eye was the huge scale of the activity facilities! With climbing courses, slides, and a seriously high Sky Trail, both my kid and I were wide-eyed!!!

Climbing walls and the Sky Trail: can a child handle them?

I was worried it might be too tough for my kid, but the Jump staff carefully fitted the safety gear and watched closely the whole time, so I could relax and watch too. Maybe thanks to that, my kid worked up the courage and climbed hard hahaha.

After the slide and a few other things, I took on the Sky Trail together with my kid. I thought it would be no big deal, but it turned out to be harder than expected — after one lap I was tired but proud, and it was genuinely fun.

My daughter got scared, cried, and gave up halfway, but her friend who came with us said it was the most fun part and tried again. Seeing her go from scared to having fun and finding courage was surprising and kind of moving haha.

There's plenty for adults to enjoy too, so I thought it would be a great date spot for couples — and in fact I saw a lot of adult visitors, not just kids, which made it clear why Jump is known as a Nowon date-spot theme park.

Cooperative games and laser tag at Jump, both worth it

After playing a long time in the net play zone, we went further in and found all kinds of game machines and a climbing game zone.

There were so many types of games that time flew by trying them all — the one that stuck with me most was a cooperative game where you have to keep your hand or foot on certain spots to keep a light on.

The kids were playing it, but with their short arms and legs, we adults naturally jumped in to help too — everyone kept saying it was tiring but kept going happily hahaha.

Next was the laser tag zone! I did it twice, and honestly I might have enjoyed it more than my kid hahaha.

The set was spacious, Red Team vs. Blue Team, and the gear felt really immersive — running around and shooting with my kid was so much fun lol.

Being out of shape, even 5 minutes of the game left me winded, but the thrill of hiding and sniping the other team meant both my kid and I had a blast haha.

Racing games and the second-floor game zone

The Battle Drift Kart ride was unfortunately under construction, but I heard it reopens on September 22, so I'm hoping to try it next time. Instead, we played the racing game right in front of it.

The equipment was so good it genuinely felt like driving haha. My kid enjoyed it so much she played 2–3 rounds in a row hahaha.

There are various game rooms on the 2nd floor too, and we lost track of time trying them all.

My kid's favorite was the Valor Arena zone — with lots of cooperative and competitive games available, she kept diving into new games with excitement!!

A filling meal at Jump's spacious food court

After playing for a long time, we ate at Jump's food court. There are various food stalls, plus a terrace, a book café, and massage chairs, with plenty of seating so we could eat comfortably.

I ordered the Psy Burger set and sotteok sotteok (rice cake and sausage skewers) — after all that playing, I was starving, so it really hit the spot. After the meal, we went right back to the 2nd-floor game zone and kept playing for a while longer hahaha.

I heard you can reserve party space in advance too, which might be good to know.

Kids Ground at Jump: prices and who can use it

The Kids Ground runs as a separate space with separate pricing from the main Jump activities. On this visit, we focused on the activities with my kid and didn't make it to the Kids Ground. As of the visit, the prices were

• Weekday, 1 hour: ₩5,600
• Weekend, 1 hour: ₩7,000
• 2 hours: ₩11,200
• 3 hours: ₩15,400
• +₩1,000 per additional 10 minutes
• Guardian entry: ₩9,000 (1 drink included)
