Was looking for a Yeonnam-dong cafe and heard Central Site Yeonnam is a brewing coffee spot! It's been a while since I had brewing coffee so I ran straight to this Yeonnam-dong cafe ❤️

Where is Central Site Yeonnam, and what are its hours?

Central Site Yeonnam is at 29-1 Yeonhui-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, 449m from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station. Hours are Mon–Fri 08:00–22:00 and Sat–Sun 08:30–20:00.

Coming from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station, follow the main road around the Donggyo-dong intersection toward Yeonnam-dong and you'll find it on the right past a Thai noodle place — about a 7-minute walk :)

Walking in, true to its reputation as a Yeonnam-dong coffee spot,

there was cold brew and all sorts of beans on display,

and the fridge case had Classic Tiramisu, Brownie Tiramisu, Lotus Tiramisu, and Strawberry Cake, plus chocolate cookies sitting out at room temperature :)

Central Site Yeonnam menu and what we ordered

The menu is organized into brewing coffee types, the 2026 S/S season menu (Ice only), espresso coffee (can swap to decaf), cold brew, non-coffee, and tea.

What we ordered:

  • Iced) Colombia Campo Hermoso Caturra Honey Grape Mosto Co-Fermentation ₩10,000
  • Iced) Guatemala Entre Volcanes Washed ₩8,000
  • Classic Tiramisu ₩8,500

Seating at Central Site Yeonnam, from the 1st to the 3rd floor

After ordering, they said they'd call us when it's ready, so I went ahead and looked around starting from the 1st floor haha. There was a small window bar-table space on the 1st floor,

and going up to the 2nd floor, the woody interior caught my eye, with tables mostly set for two — great for a date, I thought

the 3rd floor also had a clean black-and-wood interior with lots of tables, so any seat would do! 💕

Smelling the beans and watching the coffee being brewed

We settled into a window seat on the 2nd floor and after a short wait they told us to come down to watch the coffee being brewed, so we headed straight to the 1st floor! They brewed our chosen Colombia and Guatemala beans from among the many on offer,

and we got to smell the beans and watch the coffee being brewed by hand — such a nice touch at Central Site Yeonnam :)

How the Colombia and Guatemala brewed coffees tasted

After watching the brewing, we went back up and waited a bit before our coffee and dessert arrived — ta-da 💕 The brewing coffees, Colombia Campo Hermoso Caturra Honey Grape Mosto Co-Fermentation and Guatemala Entre Volcanes Washed, came out along with the Classic Tiramisu, and they even gave us a taste of another coffee on the house — a peach-flavored coffee that was so good! !

We ordered both brewing coffees iced, and they came with cup-sized ice cubes floating in them haha. The Colombia had this amazingly grape-like taste, and the Guatemala was a rich coffee without the acidity we're used to — and each one came with its own tasting note card, which was a nice touch! !

Classic Tiramisu, 8,500 won

The Classic Tiramisu is ₩8,500, said to be made with the authentic recipe loved by the Gucci chairman. It came topped with grated chocolate, which already looked delicious just from the visuals, right? haha. Soft tiramisu with a cup of coffee really is the best combo ❤️

The coffee was seriously top-notch — the best brewing coffee I've had so far at Central Site Yeonnam :) Between the coffee-and-tiramisu combo and the great service, we had such a good time. If you're looking for a Yeonnam-dong cafe or a Hongdae coffee spot, I recommend giving Central Site Yeonnam a visit 🙏
