In short
LOOOP Bakery is a large bakery café on Yeonmujang 5-gil near Seongsu Station Exit 3 in Seongdong, Seoul, occupying the whole building from the 1st floor up to a 4th-floor rooftop. The writer returned to rebuy the cream salt bread (₩4,800) they fell for on an earlier visit, also took home a sausage salt bread, palmier carré and vegan chocolate cookie, and explored floors 1 to 3 and the 3rd-floor self-studio photo zone while waiting for the order. 1st floor: bakery display, merchandise and outdoor tables
The 1st floor of LOOOP has the bread shelves, a merchandise corner and outdoor tables near the entrance. You pick your bread yourself and put it on a tray.

One corner also displays café merchandise like T-shirts and other clothing, which is fun to browse.

The moment I walked in, I started picking out bread.

After a lot of agonizing, the breads on my tray were a sausage salt bread, a cream salt bread, a palmier carré, and 2 chocolate vegan cookies.

I'd eaten the cream salt bread in the store last time and I still remember how good it was, so I put it on the tray as a repeat buy without a second thought.

Outside near the entrance there are also outdoor tables where you can drink coffee in the fresh air.

2nd floor: well-spaced tables for two and four
On the 2nd floor of LOOOP, small tables for 2 and 4 line the walls with lots of space between them, so it never feels cramped and is really comfortable. The stairs are a bit steep, so watch your step.
The 2nd floor has only two women's restrooms, and they were clean and well equipped, so they're convenient to use.
3rd floor: self-service photo studio and outdoor terrace
The 3rd floor of LOOOP has an unmanned self-studio photo zone and outdoor terrace seating. The photo spot is closed after sunset and in bad weather, and ages 13 and under aren't allowed in.

While my tray of bread was being packed up, I looked around every corner of the store.

<Photo spot notice> No entry after sunset or in bad weather (no entry for ages 13 and under)
Upstairs on the 3rd floor there's a separate, hip-feeling unmanned self-studio. You don't need to go somewhere else for life-four-cut photo booth shots (Korean-style photo strips); it's a great photo zone for having fun taking pictures right inside the café.
Next to the 3rd-floor studio is an outdoor terrace seating area where you can relax in the breeze. When I visited, the door out to the rooftop was locked, maybe for safety reasons, so I couldn't see the rooftop.
How well is LOOOP Bakery's takeout bread wrapped?
LOOOP Bakery's breads are wrapped individually in plastic, so they kept their shape on the way home. I couldn't forget the cream salt bread I'd enjoyed in the store, so I took it home along with other tempting bakery items to enjoy comfortably.

Each one was wrapped individually in plastic and kept its shape all the way home, which made me very happy.
How the LOOOP Bakery takeout items tasted
Sausage salt bread, ₩5,500
LOOOP's sausage salt bread is ₩5,500.

It looks exactly like a hot dog, so I just grabbed it.
Palmier carré, ₩6,800
LOOOP's palmier carré is ₩6,800.

Honestly it's a little pricey, but it's crispy and the chocolate flavor is intense, so it's perfect with an Americano.
Cream salt bread, ₩4,800
LOOOP's cream salt bread is ₩4,800, and I bought it again because it was so good last time.

It's packed with milk cream that pairs well with the saltiness, so it isn't greasy and you just keep eating.
Vegan chocolate cookie, ₩4,500
LOOOP's chocolate vegan cookie is ₩4,500. I was curious because it's vegan, so I bought it.

I expected it to be dry, but it was crispy, the chocolate flavor was surprisingly rich, and the bite-size pieces were easy to keep snacking on.
