Euljiro 3-ga pub after a work dinner: low-fizz Sulsul beer, Eulsam Hof

Today I'm introducing a great place for a simple beer in Euljiro 3-ga! Euljiro has gotten even hotter lately, with everything from old-school drinking spots to standing beer bars that are perfect for a quick drink.

Eulsam Hof Euljiro Main Branch (을삼호프 을지로본점) is open every day from 17:00 to 01:00, and it's 93 m from Exit 11 of Euljiro 3-ga Station. The address is 50 Supyo-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea (1st floor).

It seems Eulsam Hof is a pub that started back in 1962 as Eulsam Golbaengi (whelk)!! And it's right by the station, super convenient! Looks like a great place to have a quick drink and head home~

What is the atmosphere like at Eulsam Hof?

Eulsam Hof Euljiro Main Branch felt less like one of those trendy, polished pubs and more like an old Euljiro drinking place. That vibe suits Euljiro these days. The interior looks easy to walk into, haha. Anyone could come in, have a light bite and a drink, and head out.

There are even coat hangers under the tables, so it's a pretty well-thought-out space!!

Eulsam Hof sells Cass and Red Rock draft beer in four styles, Sulsul, Toktok, Taktak and Foam Foam. Cass is ₩3,900-₩4,900 and Red Rock is ₩4,900-₩5,900.

Selling the same draft beer as Sulsul, Foam Foam and Toktok is what makes this place special and charming!!

You can even watch them pour the beer yourself! If your usual draft beer has started to feel a bit boring, a place where you can try a new style of beer like this is worth a visit.

Each type of beer has a different cup coaster. It was a fun little extra.

Sulsul beer: the pick if you like less fizz

I was amazed at how clearly the way the beer is poured changes how it goes down. I don't like beer that's too fizzy, so I ordered the Sulsul beer, and I really enjoyed it, haha.

It looks smooth just from looking at it!! The foam went down so softly. I can't believe this is Cass.

Best snack at Eulsam Hof: gochujang garlic fries

The snack I ordered at Eulsam Hof was the gochujang garlic fries (₩8,500)~ The garlic sauce was a work of art. Simply the best with beer...🙌🏻

Foam Foam beer's 30-second golden time: can you finish it in 10 seconds?

I tried the Foam Foam beer at Eulsam Hof too. Golden time is 30 seconds..? Whoa. I think they said if you finish it within 10 seconds you get another glass.. Is that even possible? I wondered, but after drinking it, it actually seems worth a try!

It's literally foam foam, all foam! The glass feels light when you pick it up, hahaha. It's a great fit for anyone who loves the soft feel of rich foam.

Ordered again,,, the portion isn't big, so it feels like it goes down even more easily..? 🍻

Is Eulsam Hof good for a second round after a work dinner?

Two of us had 5 or 6 glasses at Eulsam Hof Euljiro Main Branch!! We came for a second round, and it wasn't overwhelming and was great value ☺️☺️ What I found interesting is that even with the same beer, how it feels to drink changes with the amount of foam and the fizz.

Having visited in person, I liked that the prices are easy on the wallet and you can enjoy beer to your own taste. You don't have to order snacks, so you can just drop in for a beer without pressure!! I'd recommend it to Euljiro office workers as a place for one more light drink after a work dinner 🍺
