Looking for a Yangcheon-gu dog cafe for a weekend date, my husband and I ended up at The Waltz & Joypia Gangseo.
The Waltz — a dog cafe exclusively for small dogs!
Whenever our dog-free-cafe cooldown was up, we'd always end up at the Gangnam branch of The Waltz & Joypia, so when I found out one had opened close to home, I was so happy I went right away!
It's a small-dog-only cafe you can visit even without a pet! Beyond just the cafe, the space also covers a play area, hotel boarding, grooming, and daycare, all in one spot!

The Waltz & Joypia Gangseo is located at 121 Garopark-ro, 1F, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It's near Sinwol-dong, bordering Hwagok-dong in Gangseo-gu, so a lot of people find it by searching "Gangseo-gu dog cafe" or "Gimpo Airport pet hotel."

On entry, we were told there's a ₩10,000 entry fee per person, and ordering a drink is required.
We each ordered a mango smoothie and a strawberry yogurt smoothie, and both were tasty — very satisfying.
The drinks were ₩7,000 and ₩7,500 each, so with entry fees, the total came to ₩34,500!
Sipping our drinks while watching the dogs, we lost track of time sitting there.
What a weekend visit is like without bringing a dog
Since only dogs under 7kg are allowed in, the whole place was full of tiny, lovable little dogs.
I went as a date with my husband, and just watching the dogs gave us endless things to talk about — such a fun time.
Those affectionate baby dogs are the best, so harmless… ㅠㅠㅠ so lovable… they can reset your stress level to zero!!
The drinks were tasty and the space was pleasant, so I already want to come back again for another date.
