Gwangalli evening walk pizza and pasta stop: Working Holiday Minrak

The weather's so nice and cool these days, and evenings are perfect for a walk. I wanted dinner and a stroll in Gwangalli, so I went to Working Holiday Minrak, a Gwangalli pizza spot with a great view, for pizza and pasta 😄 The interior was spacious with lots of different seating and even a terrace — the atmosphere was so good. The pizza and pasta were delicious too, so I'm super satisfied writing this review 😄

Inside Working Holiday Minrak: seating and the floor-to-ceiling ocean view

Working Holiday Minrak has a lot of tables inside and the atmosphere was so good. There's a large table too, which would be perfect for a group gathering 👍

You can see Gwangalli beach all at once through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and it'd be great for watching the drone show if you time it right 😆 There's also comfy sofa seating, so it's a good spot not just for meals but for a cup of coffee or enjoying brunch too 😆

Working Holiday Minrak menu and how the kiosk order works

Here's Working Holiday Minrak's menu. Brunch, pasta, pizza, sandwiches — the menu really had a lot of variety. There were plenty of drink options too, so it was easy to pick to your taste. Ordering was done at the kiosk by the entrance, which was convenient. We ordered Bolognese pasta (₩20,000), Margherita pizza (₩22,000), and cider (₩3,000) 😄

How were the Margherita pizza and Bolognese pasta?

Once you order and the buzzer rings, you go pick up the food yourself. Right next to the pickup counter there are plates, straws, and tissues ready, so grab those too.

The Margherita pizza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil in perfect balance, tasted light yet full of flavor. The crust was chewy all the way to the edges with a subtle wood-fired aroma, and the softly melted cheese paired so well with the sweet-and-tangy tomato sauce that it was really delicious 😆😆 The fragrant basil cut through any richness, so I could enjoy it cleanly to the last bite 👍

The Bolognese pasta had chewy noodles loaded with rich tomato sauce and savory ground meat, and the flavor was great. The wide noodles were nicely coated with sauce, and every bite brought out the umami of the meat and onions so well!! The tomato's gentle tanginess cut the richness too, making it a dish that was both hearty and satisfying to eat. Piling the sauce onto the baguette and eating it with the noodles was also so good — the sauce was tasty enough that I scraped the plate clean 😆😆
