Hi, it's Lovely~! I went to try Jojo's okonomiyaki, which has been getting really popular at Triple Street these days!
I usually check out restaurants at Triple Street pretty often, but this time I decided to try something a bit different with my mom.
How long is the 7pm wait at Jojo in Songdo?
We got to Jojo Triple Street Branch around 7pm and, as expected, it was popular! When I joined the Catch Table waitlist, there were 5 parties ahead of us and the estimated wait was 48 minutes. But we actually got in after about 35 minutes — a bit faster than expected, which was a relief!
The moment we'd been waiting for! We opened the door and the place was absolutely packed.
There was a menu already laid out at our teppan table, and honestly the table itself set the perfect mood for okonomiyaki (savory pancake) before we'd even ordered!
Ordering at Jojo: write your nickname on the slip
One thing that surprised me at first was Jojo's ordering system! You write your nickname on the order slip along with your chosen dishes. At first I wondered why on earth we needed to write a nickname, but once the food arrived, it made total sense.
They're also running a review event, so it might be worth checking out if you're interested. Sauces to suit your taste were ready on the table too (Jojo's special sauce, fire sauce, and mayonnaise).

And finally the okonomiyaki arrived! When it came out, the nickname we'd written on the order slip was right there on top of the dish. Ah — so that's why they had us write it down!
Being able to tell right away which dish was mine felt cute and clever at the same time — like it had been made especially for me! Once it arrived, I cut into it carefully and dug in.
Donpeiyaki, the dish my mother liked most
Next up was the donpeiyaki. From the outside it looks like a rolled omelette, but inside there was meat, cheese, and cabbage. The soft egg blended nicely with the fillings and it was heartier than I expected! My mom especially loved the donpeiyaki. Eating it alongside the okonomiyaki, the flavors really complemented each other. Ordering a few different dishes to share was nice, too — it kept things from getting monotonous the way sticking to just one dish would.
Spicy karai yakisoba when the sauces feel too rich
The last dish to arrive was the karai yakisoba (spicy fried noodles). True to its name, it had a bit of a kick, though not overwhelmingly spicy. After a while eating okonomiyaki and donpeiyaki, the mayonnaise and sauces can start to feel a little heavy — and that's exactly when the karai yakisoba stepped in to clean the palate! The slight spice mixed well with what we'd already eaten, and between the sweet and salty flavors, I just kept reaching for more. Thanks to it, I enjoyed every last bite.
Was Jojo Triple Street Branch in Songdo worth the wait?
This visit to Jojo Songdo Triple Street Branch had a wait, but it didn't feel like wasted time. Eating straight off the teppan table was fun, and the nickname-based ordering system added an extra bit of enjoyment when the food arrived.
