Hi, this is Hijuk. We went to Paju Nori Cloud with my kid over the weekend. After playing hard, we got hungry, and since my kid loves jjajangmyeon, we headed to Mimi China, a spot near Paju Nori Cloud, for lunch.

Getting from Paju Nori Cloud to Mimi China, and where to park

Mimi China, famous for jjajangmyeon in Paju Unjeong, is a Chinese restaurant in that area. It took about 10 minutes by car from Paju Nori Cloud, and there was a spacious parking area right in front of the restaurant, so parking was easy.

Sunday lunch at Mimi China with a 6-year-old: seating and atmosphere

Clean and pleasant interior. I visited during Sunday lunch, and true to its reputation as a popular Unjeong spot, there were quite a few customers eating. That said, it wasn't crowded enough to need waiting, and we sat down right away. The place was tidy and the tables had decent spacing, so it was fine to sit and eat with a kid.

Baby chairs were ready too, which made visiting with a kid convenient.

Take only as much as you need from the self-serve bar for extra side dishes.

Jjajangmyeon, 8,000 won: sweet enough for a 6-year-old

Jjajangmyeon at Mimi China, a Chinese restaurant in Paju Unjeong: ₩8,000.

The jjajangmyeon sauce was sweet and not salty, with a soft flavor that made it easy to share with my kid. I had a bite myself and it was better than expected, so I kept eating along with her. My 6-year-old Dami loves jjajangmyeon, so once I mixed the noodles with plenty of sauce, she said it was delicious and ate it all. It had been a while since I had jjajangmyeon that matched my taste this well!

Sinmi jjamppong, 12,000 won: spicy seafood broth

Sinmi jjamppong is a spicy, refreshing seafood-based noodle soup.

The refreshing taste from the seafood, combined with the fiery, spicy broth, made me want more with every bite. There was plenty of seafood too, so it was fun picking through the toppings, and I enjoyed the broth down to the last drop.

Tangsuyuk, 20,000 won: thick pork in a crisp coating

Tangsuyuk at Mimi China, a spot known for great tangsuyuk in Paju Unjeong: ₩20,000.

Mimi China's tangsuyuk had thick, generous pieces of meat, so biting in gave a satisfying chew.

The coating was fried crisp too, and dipping it in the sauce was delicious. The portion was quite generous, so eating a few pieces already felt filling. My 6-year-old Dami ate it happily too, which made me proud.

We ate well~~ Mimi China was our lunch stop with my hungry kid after playing hard at Paju Nori Cloud. The sweet jjajangmyeon went down well with her, and we had a filling meal sharing jjamppong and tangsuyuk too. If you're heading to Paju Nori Cloud with kids, it might be nice to stop by Mimi China for jjajangmyeon like we did!
