Songdo bakery café salt bread that won my kid's thumbs-up: Cozy Bear
In short
Cafe Cozy Bear Salt Bread Bakery Songdo Hagwonga Branch is a new salt bread bakery café in the academy district of Songdo's first sector in Yeonsu, Incheon. On a bread tour for a child who loves salt bread, the writer took home plain, ang-butter (red bean paste and butter) and castella salt bread to eat with coffee, and the fermented-butter flavor, crisp right down to the bottom, earned the child's first thumbs-up in a long time. Cozy Bear is worth a visit for families in Songdo looking for salt bread.

My kid loves salt bread so much 🍞 that lately I've been on a bread tour, visiting only the Incheon Songdo café bakeries famous for good salt bread~ haha

🥐 Made with premium French fermented butter, Guérande salt and premium flour, it's extra special: crackly outside, moist inside! COZY BEAR salt bread, a top Incheon Songdo café bakery. Go once and coming back is only a matter of time!!
What is Cozy Bear Songdo Hagwonga Branch like?

Cozy Bear Songdo Hagwonga Branch is a newly opened Incheon Songdo café in Songdo's District 1 cram-school area (hagwonga) that bakes and sells its own salt bread. I stopped by for salt bread as a dessert in Songdo, and since it was brand new it caught my eye *.*
Where Cozy Bear is

Cozy Bear is a café in the building across from the Songdo food-ingredient mart, just 1 minute away :)

I visited a little after 1 p.m., and the terrace and the inside already had guests, plus people picking up takeout.

What time does Cozy Bear's salt bread come out?
✔️ Fresh-baked, crisp-outside, moist-inside salt bread comes out twice a day, every day at 09:00 and 2:00 p.m., so keep that in mind. They say it may close early once the prepared quantity sells out.
Inside Cafe Cozy Bear
It's an Incheon Songdo café bakery famous for salt bread, made with French fermented butter and Guérande sea salt, baking only a set quantity each day.

👉🏻 At the time of my visit there was an opening event: buy 3 salt breads and get 1 more free. Write a receipt review and be sure to claim the perk.

Cozy Bear, the Incheon Songdo café that's serious about salt bread, also has an outdoor terrace, so enjoying dessert there on a nice day like these would be even better :)

Cozy Bear salt bread varieties and takeout

The salt bread varieties are potato, castella (sponge cake), pollock roe, garlic, ang-butter (red bean paste and butter) and plain. The 3+1 event was running on salt bread when I visited.

They even make the red bean paste by hand from domestic red beans, and with paper takeout bags and gift boxes, it's perfect for thank-you gifts or presents for friends!
Today I wanted to try a bit of everything, so I picked the plain salt bread, ang-butter and castella, and enjoyed them at home with coffee.

How does Cozy Bear's plain salt bread taste?
The plain salt bread is made with French fermented butter and Guérande salt, and the glossy, buttery aroma is amazing..

Made with premium flour, it's crisp outside and moist inside, crunchy all the way to the bottom.

The fermented butter flavor was especially good, and my kid said Cozy Bear's salt bread was delicious and gave me a thumbs-up for the first time in a while! If the kid approves, what more is there to say~ haha

Castella salt bread is a sweet-and-salty combo

Cozy Bear's castella salt bread has fresh cream inside, so it's a salt bread + whipped cream combo, and the sweet-and-salty mix was seriously the best ;; The true salt bread flavor hits you first, then the cream comes in all sweet-salty-sweet-salty.. with an Americano it was pure heaven!

Ang-butter salt bread is packed with red bean and butter
Cozy Bear's ang-butter salt bread is packed with red bean paste and butter, so the filling was great too, and it melts the moment it hits your mouth! They must use good salt, and I'd honestly call this the salt bread holy land of Songdo! haha
I'll have to come back on a nice day to sit at a table in the breeze and drink a Cozy coffee :)
Overall verdict on Cozy Bear

- A Songdo bread-pilgrimage salt bread spot baking with domestic ingredients
- Easy parking inside the building, even for novice drivers
- Located in Songdo District 1's cram-school area, a comfortable café for dessert and coffee while waiting for your kid
- At the time of my visit, an opening event gave one extra salt bread for a Naver review
Top-tier salt bread among Incheon Songdo café bakeries! I recommend it as a place worth visiting. With the opening event on too, there's no reason not to go.. Cozy Bear, a Songdo bread-pilgrimage stop made with care and domestic ingredients! As a date course, or if you love salt bread, I recommend the Incheon Songdo café bakery 'COZY BEAR' :)
