If you are looking for a meat restaurant near Cheongna Lake Park, Sammi-jip is the place. You can enjoy pork and kimchi cooked on a cauldron lid, using Korean kimchi made in-house by a master, so you can dine with peace of mind. It is already well known in Cheongna, and there were lots of older diners and families.

As you would expect from a Cheongna favorite, there are lunch specials too, so it is great for office workers. Lunch is not cheap these days with prices so high, so wouldn’t it be wonderful to get a meal at this price?

A spacious dining room for company dinners and family meals
The restaurant has a neat white-toned interior, making it great for group company dinners. The tables are wide, the chairs are clean, and the dining room is spacious. The tables are well spaced too, which is really nice. There are plenty of high chairs as well!

Here is Sammi-jip’s menu. What is appealing is that you can enjoy everything from pork belly to pork neck with Korean kimchi made in-house by a master. With such a variety of dishes and meats, it is hard to find a better spot for a family meal!

Self-service bar and receipt-review perk
There is a self-service bar, so you can bring over any banchan (Korean side dishes) you need. Along with the basic side dishes, there are more items at the self-service bar, so be sure to check it out.

There is also a receipt review promotion, so you can receive injeolmi ice cream and a drink as a complimentary dessert. Such a perfect ending. We had to get to work early, so we could not have it, and that is what I regret most... sob sob.

Cauldron-lid kimchi pork grilled by the staff
The table was set up neatly for us.

All these ingredients will go onto the cauldron lid and cook with delicious meat and Korean kimchi! Do not worry about doing it yourself—the staff come over and take care of it for you^^

The water kimchi was cool, tangy, and delicious. It really soothed the stomach.

The reason I am introducing Sammi-jip is this: the meat comes par-cooked, and the staff arrange the kimchi and vegetables so they are just right for eating. They keep everything neat and easy to eat for you^^

The presentation is no joke, right? Delicious pork and well-fermented kimchi alone would be perfect, but then there is pajeori (seasoned shredded scallion), bean sprouts, and minari (water parsley) too—say no more. They grill the meat, and they grill the kimchi and sides too! I brought whole garlic from the self-service bar and grilled it alongside everything, and you absolutely have to try it. It can only be delicious.

The combination of pork neck that only needs a little more cooking after being par-cooked, plus kimchi, minari, bean sprouts, and pajeori. It would make no sense for this not to be delicious, right? It is a wonderful Cheongna Lake Park restaurant because you do not need to grill the meat yourself, and it tastes even better for it.

If you are coming for a stroll-and-date around Cheongna Lake Park, do not forget to stop by Sammi-jip, haha. If you are planning a Cheongna date in the now-crisp autumn weather, or looking for a company dinner venue, do not forget to visit. You can enjoy a comfortable meal here.
