Unboxing the SoulGoddess Oracle Card

Today, a package I’d been waiting for arrived—and it was such a fun little thing I discovered not long ago.

Ta-da, oracle cards.

Among all kinds of oracle cards, I went with the SoulGoddess Oracle Card, described as “messages from the goddesses of my soul.” To introduce where I bought it first, it was from Storefarm. Delivery was seriously, seriously fast—it arrived right at my door the very next day after I ordered.

SoulGoddess Oracle Card

Starting with the cards themselves, SoulGoddess Oracle Card is made up of illustrations of about 40 goddesses, from Asia to Africa, and from the heavens to the underworld.

I heard the illustrations took a full year to create, and honestly, I can see why—they’re so beautiful.

The Flora card I loved, and the finish
Here’s a quick little peek at just a few cards—this is the overall feel. Personally, I really loved the “Flora” card. The pink-pink illustration is pretty, of course, but I also loved its message: “Please cherish yourself more. The world will cherish you dearly, too.” And just so you know, these aren’t ordinary cards: they have a subtle glossy coating and gold foil, with a quality that makes the price understandable.

Drawing a card for today’s fortune
And the reason I brought out these oracle cards today: to look at my fortune for the day. I usually really enjoy tarot and fortune readings, but people do say it’s not good to look at them too often, and I didn’t want to be swayed by them for no reason either. I thought oracle cards would be nice for looking at things just for fun. They’re a treat for the eyes with their pretty illustrations, and the messages are intuitive enough to interpret without a separate guidebook. For me, that actually made them feel less overwhelming and more comfortable. After quietly settling my mind.

I spread the cards out like a fan, said what I wanted, and carefully drew one card.

Today’s card: Mago
And that was how Mago, today’s card, appeared. “You are a great creator. Choose the universe you desire.” Thinking about it, if the universe I want is clear, I shouldn’t neglect that universe if I want to choose it. I should remember to take care of it. I brought home an oracle card deck I’d been curious about. I liked it even more because the messages felt meaningful alongside the beautiful illustrations. It feels like the kind of deck I’ll pull out from time to time whenever I get curious about my fortune. It also seems that related websites, cafés, books, and apps are run alongside it, so anyone interested might want to check them out.
