How to find Hola Poke Seolleung Branch for a solo lunch near Seolleung Station

After a recent blood test left me feeling like my health had a red flag on it, I went looking for something healthy and ended up at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch for a solo lunch! It's tucked in an alley so it was a bit tricky to find, but once you spot those five corner decorations in the alley, that's the building to walk into!

There's an elevator too, so getting up to the second-floor Hola Poke Seolleung Branch is easy. Once inside, you order at a kiosk, so convenient!!! There are two kiosks so the wait is relatively short. And even while ordering, you can hear delivery orders pinging nonstop at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch!

Steak poke for 14,000 won: choosing the base and the sauce at Hola Poke
At Hola Poke Seolleung Branch you can freely choose your base. Switching to soba noodle salad is also possible with no extra charge! You also pick one sauce, and after some deliberation, I went with the recommended topping sauce.
What I ended up ordering was the Steak Poke for ₩14,000, with Salad7 Oat Brown Rice3, wasabi mayo topping sauce, and an avocado add-on (+₩3,500).

Every solo seat at Hola Poke has its own phone stand
The restaurant is spacious with quite a few solo seats. I visited past the peak lunch hour, and there were also 2-person and 4-person tables, so it would work fine for coming with a friend too. The orange and white combo is cute. There's a self-bar with napkins and cutlery, so make sure to grab what you need.

What's kind of cute is that each solo seat had its own phone stand. A perfect service for us modern people who eat while watching videos hahahaha. Next time I'm definitely sitting at a solo seat...

Wasabi mayo sauce and two thick slices of avocado for 3,500 won
A super filling steak poke plus avocado add-on from Hola Poke Seolleung Branch! I was honestly a bit worried about what I'd get with the recommended topping sauce — I just hoped it wouldn't be spicy, haha. Turns out you can check the recommended sauce ahead of time on the Naver order page, and I got wasabi mayo.

100g of steak, the basic toppings, and the avocado I added!!! Since it was only ₩3,500 extra I half-expected a skimpy portion, but it came with two generous slices of avocado. The basic toppings include red onion, corn, pickled radish, pineapple, seaweed, lentils, and chickpeas. I'm not usually a fan of beans, but the little round toppings looked cute.

How does the steak poke taste? Mix the whole bowl if it is your first poke
With poke, I always feel a little lost before eating (no idea how I'm supposed to approach it), so before diving in properly I like to try each ingredient one by one. The meat quality was good, and the vegetables were fresh, so it was really nice to eat! The pairing with wasabi mayo was better than I expected too.

But when you think about it, poke is basically Western bibimbap, right? Hahahahahahahahahahaha. There's no problem at all with pouring in the sauce and mixing it all up. If you haven't tried poke, don't be intimidated. My mom's been a little worried about trying things she hasn't had before, but there's really nothing to worry about.
The beef steak was thick with a satisfying chew, and thanks to the fresh vegetables and brown rice, it made for a filling lunch! These days I'm trying to be more careful about my diet and eat more vegetables, so a filling and healthy lunch at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch — mission complete!!!
