Hi everyone! I visited Dobana, a tea house in downtown Jeju City, just 10 minutes from Jeju Airport. It's easy to get to since it's close to the airport, and Gwandeokjeong, Chilseongtong, and Dongmun Market are all nearby too, so it's a great bakery café to stop by during a Jeju trip.

There was a wide parking area right at the entrance. I liked that it was big enough to fit even large buses. Dobana opens every day from 10:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30.

The inside was way more spacious than I expected — one of the biggest spaces I've seen in downtown Jeju City.

Even though Dobana is a tea house, they also sell a variety of desserts, so I could enjoy a simple bakery treat alongside my tea.

There were so many kinds of bakery items that I was happily stuck deciding what to pick. The prices weren't intimidating either, so I could choose without worrying.

There's a TEA STATION with pretty teacups on display. It was fun to browse the cups while waiting for our drinks.

Our order arrived — ambeoter salt bread, chili sausage bread, and tea. The tea came with detailed instructions on how to drink it, so I could enjoy it warm without any trouble.

There were also private booth tables, so we could enjoy our tea time in a comfortable, closed-off atmosphere. The hall is very spacious, so it can accommodate group visitors too. And best of all, the foreign staff member was fluent in both Korean and English, so choosing our menu was no trouble at all.

How to steep the tea with the hourglass

• Please wait until all the sand in the hourglass provided falls to the bottom.
• Pour the steeped tea through the strainer into your teacup.
• Place the used strainer on its stand.
• Enjoy your tea~

I could steep the tea while watching the cute little hourglass. Straining the tea through the filter gave it a warm, deep flavor~

The tea was warm, refined, and had a lovely aroma. As you'd expect from a tea specialty shop, the flavor was rich, and it left me feeling good and warmed up. I used to think tea houses would feel old-fashioned and antique, but Dobana is the kind of café that suits everyone from Gen MZ to people in their 60s and 70s, so it'd be great to visit with family, friends, or a partner~
