First, Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch is open daily from 09:00 to 15:00, with last orders at 14:30! In Jeju, restaurants that close early tend to be the good ones, so doesn't that make Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch one of Jeju's great restaurants too!!? 👍

A spacious restaurant that can accommodate groups
The interior was really large, with enough tables to welcome a group without any problem. A space this big must be difficult to clean, but the whole restaurant was kept incredibly tidy, and the kitchen was very neat too! We visited after lunchtime and were surprised that it was still almost full of customers. 👍 (Jeju restaurant certified!!)

Convenient services for guests
There were also convenience services for guests, which they said were prepared with customers in mind. They were such nice touches! They may seem small, but every one of them was really handy and lovely. 😊

From noodles and rice dishes to seafood
Here is the menu at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch. They serve noodle dishes and rice dishes, along with side dishes including dombe pork (sliced boiled pork served on a wooden board), plus a variety of options such as sea snail and abalone!

Visit at the right time for dombe pork
Each table has a tablet, so ordering from your seat was easy. We ordered two pork soup bowls, one pork noodle bowl, and one boiled dumpling order! We had originally wanted dombe pork, but it was sold out when we visited, so we couldn't try it. Dombe pork is served at 09:00 / 12:00 / 13:30, so don't miss out like we did—visit at the right time and you can enjoy even more delicious dombe pork!

Jeju radish tea and house-made kimchi
After we ordered, they first brought out the side dishes and water. The water was Jeju radish tea, and there was a notice on the wall about its benefits. I read that it has lots of good effects for the body, including supporting digestion and immunity, weight loss, and blood-pressure control. It was nice because it made me drink more water.

The side dishes were kimchi and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), and they said they had made kimchi more than a hundred times.. Of course, house-made kimchi using Korean ingredients couldn't possibly be bad, and it was so delicious with the food. 👍

And if you need more side dishes, there is a self-service bar, so just take as much as you will eat yourself!

Pork soup with a rich bone-broth feel
After waiting a little, our food arrived, and I tried the pork soup first. From the moment it came out, it looked so delicious with steam billowing up! The broth had that rich, beef-bone-broth-like feel and was so tasty. I had come after swimming, so it warmed me right through, and I enjoyed its clean, mild flavor. 👍

The rice that came with it was a heaping bowl, packed down tightly, so I loved how generous the portion was. I was curious because the rice was pink, but a sign on the wall explained that Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch cooks its rice with red yeast rice, which gives it that pink color!

Pork noodles in pork-bone broth simmered for over 12 hours
Next, the pork noodles used pork-bone broth simmered for over 12 hours. It had the savory, rich flavor distinctive to bone broth, yet it was cleaner-tasting than I expected. The noodles had a springy texture that went so well with the broth. The thick slices of black pork on top were tender to bite into, making them perfect with the noodles, and the side dishes made the meal even more delicious. 👍

Boiled dumplings that make a great side
Lastly, the boiled dumplings were a side dish in a handy one-bite size, making them great with the mains. They were moist, with the mild and savory flavor typical of meat dumplings, and a light dip in soy sauce added a salty kick. I totally, highly recommend them as a side!! 👍

Lastly, Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch gives out a scratch coupon where every ticket wins when you write a receipt review, so write a review and enjoy the service from your scratch coupon!
With its spacious, comfortable setting, it is great for group visits, and Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch puts guests first while serving delicious food made with good ingredients. I recommend this Jeju pork noodle restaurant!
