Pangyo café-floor brunch with homemade ricotta salad: Tobeu Nain
In short
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch is a Western restaurant at 56 Sasong-ro in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi, with a restaurant on the first floor and a café on the second. Because the first-floor break time (15:00–17:00) was close, the writer and her husband took a second-floor table for a brunch date and ordered ricotta salad, truffle white ragu pasta and a Margherita pizza. The salad, made with house-made ricotta cheese, was the best dish of the day at Tobeu Nain.

What kind of place is Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch?
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch is a Western-style restaurant near Pangyo Station at 56 Sasong-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily 10:30-21:00, with the 1st floor restaurant taking a break time from 15:00-17:00 and last order at 19:50. If you're looking for a Western food date-course restaurant near Pangyo Station, this is the place.

Came here for a date with my husband right before the long holiday started 👩🏻❤️👨🏻 I've been really into Pangyo dates lately, and whenever I come to Pangyo I somehow just crave brunch or Western food, so I looked around and ended up here. It's a little away from Baekhyeon-dong but the vibe is amazing, totally my style 🍃💚

Tobeu Nain apparently works as a restaurant on the 1st floor and a café on the 2nd floor. The vintage-mood interior has a bit of a European feel, and the lush green view through the window is completely my taste 💚

Eating on the second-floor café level: window seats and the self-bar
Since it was close to break time, I decided to eat on the 2nd floor café at Tobeu Nain! The whole 2nd floor also had wood-tone tables and antique interior details — the atmosphere was so nice.

The view out the 2nd floor window is genuinely a love ..💚

Right where you come up the stairs to the 2nd floor there's a self-bar, where you can grab extra pickles or water if you need them.

The Tobeu Nain menu and how to order the soufflé
Living up to its reputation as a real hit restaurant for Western food near Pangyo Station, they have a good variety of menus perfect for brunch, from single-person sets up to 3-4 person sets. There are a lot of main dish options, so ordering several sets together seems like a great idea. Since they also run it as a café, you can order a soufflé for dessert too, but it takes about 20 minutes to make and comes out as dessert after you finish your meal ..🙃 I had a hard time holding back from wanting the soufflé too.....

Ricotta salad with house-made cheese: the best dish of the day
Ricotta salad
I thought focaccia would come with it, but it looks like ciabatta! But the ciabatta at Tobeu Nain is genuinely amazing.... crispy and chewy, so delicious I wanted to buy some and make a sandwich if they sold it.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables, a custom dressing, and house-made ricotta cheese from Tobeu Nain 🥗 To cut to the conclusion, the salad was the number one dish I ate today. The reason: the ricotta cheese 🤍

The sweet, savory ricotta cheese really woke up my appetite 🤤 The tangy dressing, mixed with balsamic and white balsamic, was also so tasty! My husband said it was the best ricotta cheese he's ever had ❤️_❤️

The salad was so good even the cherry tomatoes started looking like hearts 🍅❤️

Truffle white ragu pasta
Truffle white ragu pasta

White ragu isn't common, but whenever I have it, it always turns out great. We didn't used to eat truffle at all until we went to Italy, and now we're into it. This dish was my pick — the ground meat, vegetables, and generous cheese all came together so well ❤️🔥 The truffle aroma was pretty strong too, but it wasn't at all overwhelming even for me as a truffle beginner, so I really enjoyed it.

How was the wood-fired Margherita pizza?
Margherita

I'd been wanting wood-fired pizza and it turned out Tobeu Nain is known for it 🍕❤️ When it comes to pizza, Margherita is the classic, right? I ordered it wanting something classic, and though the tomato and basil flavor wasn't as strong as I expected, which was a little disappointing, wood-fired pizza after a while was still delicious as always 👍🏻 The eggplant sicilian, fig, and quattro formaggi pizzas look like they'd also be really good, I'm curious about them!!

Is Tobeu Nain worth it as a date spot near Pangyo Station?
From the salad to the pasta and pizza, everything was so delicious and perfect for a brunch set (the portions are also genuinely huge, so big eaters would love it 🐷). If you're looking for a Western food restaurant near Pangyo Station, I'd really, really recommend this place ..❤️
