It had been a while since I'd had brunch, and I didn't want just any brunch — I wanted a genuinely good one, so I went to Tobeu Nain, a well-known brunch and dessert spot in Pangyo. The food was great, of course, but the atmosphere was also lovely and I got to try a good variety of the menu, so I left really satisfied.

Where is Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch, and what are the hours?
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch is on the 1st and 2nd floors at 56 Sasong-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily from 10:30 to 21:00, with the 1st floor break time from 15:00 to 17:00. Parking, takeout, reservations, and baby chairs are all available.

There's a ramp installed at the store entrance, which was really great for visiting with a stroller. Honestly, a stroller can usually be managed one way or another, but a building without a ramp is hard for a wheelchair to enter at all. I liked that they thought about even this small detail.

There's a proper parking lot right in front of the store, so I could visit comfortably without worrying about parking. If you're coming with a baby or with grandparents, that parking lot is even more precious and important, hahaha ㅋㅋㅋㅋლ
There were also plenty of baby chairs set up. On weekends there seemed to be a lot of family visitors alongside dates and friend meetups, and since the menu is something both adults and kids would enjoy, I kept thinking of my own family — my mom would like this, my little one would like this, my mother-in-law would probably like this vibe too... I guess I'm a good daughter, haha.

What does the two-floor Tobeu Nain building look like inside?
Tobeu Nain Pangyo Main Branch has high ceilings so it never feels cramped, and the tables are spaced generously so you can eat comfortably. You could tell a lot of care went into the interior — furniture, small props, tableware, even the water bottles. I mean, isn't this kind of atmosphere just so nice ღ — if someone brought me here I'd totally fall for them~

Tobeu Nain, the well-known Pangyo brunch and dessert spot, is a standalone building so you get to enjoy a spacious setup — the 1st floor runs as a restaurant and the 2nd floor as a café. I visited in the morning, and there were quite a few office workers enjoying brunch. Naver reservations are convenient too, so I'd recommend booking ahead for large groups or peak hours.

Ordering by tablet: the brunch set and the soufflé set
At Tobeu Nain you order through the tablet at each table. Tobeu Nain is famous as a soufflé spot — that's exactly why I picked this Pangyo brunch and dessert spot for brunch. I went ahead and ordered the brunch set and the soufflé set!

Apparently the handmade egg tart is delicious too? I love egg tarts too... this place only sells things I love, hahahahaha, noted 🤍

Tobeu Nain has a pretty box that holds 4 egg tarts, so it's great for gifting too.

I ordered a cola to go with the pasta and an americano to go with the soufflé. I get especially strategic when it comes to eating, haha.
From the food to the coffee, everything was packed with flavor. I noticed another table drinking café lattes and they looked really good too... all three people at that table had a latte? Next time, latte!!!! 🤎

Ricotta cheese salad with a generous mix of fruit
The soft, fluffy ricotta cheese salad from the Tobeu Nain brunch set. It was piled with vegetables and fruit, and having such a variety of fruit made it even better. The balsamic dressing suited the refreshing salad and whetted the appetite, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy.

Piling the ricotta cheese onto the toasted bread brought out its clean, nutty flavor even more clearly. Both the bread and the ricotta cheese were clean and nutty, with a soft texture and a gentle sweetness.

How does the garlic shrimp cream pasta taste?
The garlic shrimp cream pasta at Tobeu Nain, a well-known Pangyo restaurant and brunch spot. As someone who loves thick, creamy pasta, I had to order a rich cream pasta! The cream had soaked well into the noodles, and the deep cream sauce flavor paired nicely with the garlic aroma.

The whole garlic cloves scattered throughout were delicious too, and the shrimp boosted the overall flavor, making for a great combination. The noodles were cooked just right and the seasoning was spot on, so I kept saying 'this is a real pasta place' over and over while eating, hahahahaha. Their skills clearly make the other pastas here worth trying too.

Pickles are essential with pasta, risotto, or pizza. The jalapeño pickles, which cut through any richness, are self-serve.

The soufflé served after the meal, about 20 minutes later
The long-awaited soufflé. The Tobeu Nain soufflé takes about 20 minutes, and once you're done with your meal, they check in and bring it out. They also cleared away all the finished dishes and gave us fresh small plates, so the meal ended on a pretty, tidy note.
They also brought out freshly wrapped cutlery. The soufflé had a soft, fluffy texture that melted in the mouth, and the eggy aroma came through gently, keeping a nice balance of lightness and moistness.

The soufflé wasn't overly sweet and the cream wasn't too rich, so together they made for a dessert you could eat without feeling weighed down. What a great way to finish, right~? If you're a soufflé lover, you really have to try the soufflé at Tobeu Nain, the well-known Pangyo restaurant and dessert spot.

I agonized between pizza and the soufflé, but the pizza is wood-fired too, so it must have its own incredible clean flavor... ugh... next time, pizza... café latte... and I won't forget to order the pasta again either.

If you're looking for a Pangyo dessert spot, a Pangyo pasta date spot, or a Pangyo brunch and dessert café to visit with family, be sure to check out Tobeu Nain. Recommended :-) ❤️
