On a weekday, early for lunch, I headed to Bulgogi On Soban with a close friend — it's known as a go-to spot near Samhwan Hi-Pex by Pangyo Station. I'd heard there could be a wait, so I made a Naver reservation beforehand, and sure enough, the place filled up fast as lunchtime approached.
I'm sharing my honest review of the garlic bulgogi along with practical info like location, parking, the vibe inside, menu prices, and business hours — stick with me to the end!
Where is Bulgogi On Soban Pangyo Branch, and what about parking and hours?

Bulgogi On Soban Pangyo Branch is at 240 Pangyoyeok-ro, basement level 1 of Samhwan Hi-Pex Building A, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Parking is free in the building's basement lot.

- Saturday 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM (last order 1:30 PM)
- Sunday 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM (last order 7:30 PM)

It's about a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Pangyo Station, and since you just follow the main road, it's easy to find even on your first visit. Because the restaurant is underground, it was easier to just navigate to Samhwan Hi-Pex Building A.
Inside Bulgogi On Soban: individual trays and the dining room

Bulgogi On Soban Pangyo Branch has plenty of seating and even group tables, so it looked comfortable for a bigger group too. The side dishes came out in individual containers on wooden trays as a private table set for each person, which felt cleaner and more hygienic. Small serving containers and ladles were included too, making it easy to share.

Another plus: the bulgogi came out already sizzling hot on the hot plate, ready to eat without any extra cooking. The bright, tidy atmosphere seemed comfortable whether you're dining solo or with a group.
Garlic short rib bulgogi price and what comes with it

We ordered two servings of garlic bulgogi. It's ₩20,000 per person. Apparently you get the same price if you book through Naver Reservation, so it seems worth reserving ahead. On the hot plate, the bulgogi came piled with onion, mushroom, fried rice cake, and corn — a really generous spread.

The rice came as multigrain rice, which felt more filling. The side dishes were set out on the private tray, with pickled onion and diced radish kimchi among the banchan, plus a warm bean sprout soup.

Besides the garlic bulgogi, they also have menu items like gochujang-mixed bulgogi and aged bulgogi, so I'm thinking of trying those next time.
How does the garlic short rib bulgogi taste?

The garlic bulgogi had a sweeter sauce than I expected, not spicy or overpowering, so it was easy to eat comfortably. The meat was tender, and as I chewed, a subtle garlic aroma kept coming through, which kept me reaching for more.

Eating the onion and mushroom together with the meat brought out the flavor of the bulgogi even more, so my chopsticks kept going back for more.

The fried rice cake was crispy outside and chewy inside like glutinous rice cake, and it paired really well texture-wise with the bulgogi. The corn was nutty and a little sweet, perfect for snacking in between bites.

The bean sprout soup had a clean broth with a slight kick, which balanced out the sweetness of the bulgogi nicely. The seasoning wasn't harsh at all, so it seemed like kids would enjoy it too, and eating it with rice, the bowl disappeared fast.

It wasn't too salty or too spicy — just the right balance that kept me coming back for more.
Is Bulgogi On Soban worth it for a Pangyo weekday lunch?

If you're looking for a filling lunch spot near Samhwan Hi-Pex in Pangyo, I'd recommend Bulgogi On Soban. The garlic bulgogi alone gives you a full meal with rice, soup, and side dishes, and the spacious restaurant makes it easy to go with a group too.

I also liked that everything came in a private table setup — it felt hygienic. The side dishes and soup were generous, so there was plenty to go around.
It seemed like it would fit well for a work lunch with colleagues or a family meal out too. That said, lunchtime fills up fast, so I'd recommend visiting early.
Hope this post helps if you're trying to figure out your next Pangyo lunch spot.
