Ju Myeongdang offers parking support, and it’s close to the ACC affiliated parking lot too, which was nice haha.

Isn’t the interior soooo pretty..?! ✨💛 Totally my taste! It’s gorgeous for a date, and just as fitting for a family gathering 💝 There are five private rooms too, so I recommend it to anyone looking for a bar with an independent space.

What comes with the ₩50,000 Imo Bapsang set

We ordered Ju Myeongdang’s signature Imo Bapsang set! It comes with 96-hour straw-fire marinated galbi (Korean beef short ribs), carefully grilled over Damyang rice straw; 72-hour-aged samgyeopsal (pork belly) and gabrisal (pork shoulder collar); seasonal bibimbap that changes with the seasons; and a deep, rich doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew)!

A menu where you get to enjoy all of that... there was no way we could not order it ㅠㅠ And for only ₩50,000?!?!?! Such an incredible deal.....

As soon as we came in, they showed us to our table and set everything up haha. The staff and owner are unbelievably kind!!!

The Imo Bapsang came out not long after we ordered 🥢 Gabrisal + galbi + pork belly: such a harmonious trio 👏🏻

Seasonal bibimbap and mul naengmyeon

And of course, the stew that can’t be left out!!!!! Bubbling away.. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 And bibimbap too..!!!?? With a thoughtfully added soft-cooked egg 🍳 This bibimbap is seriously the star, everyone...

The seasonal bibimbap is especially delicious because they don’t skimp on the vegetables!!!!! It isn’t spicy, so it’s perfect with the meat hahahaha.

Meat + naengmyeon (cold noodles) = 0 .. You can choose between mul naengmyeon, served in a chilled broth, and bibim naengmyeon, mixed spicy cold noodles. I wanted that cool broth, so I chose mul naengmyeon! And all of this is one menu..?????

Tender galbi and ssam combinations

Galbi is my favorite meat 🤤 It was so tender and reallllly delicious ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Can you see how huge it is!!!! It wasn’t tough at all, just tender.. The pork belly and gabrisal were all tender too, so we polished them off in no time hahaha.

The whole table was packed with sides, including fresh geotjeori (lightly seasoned fresh kimchi), so I was very satisfied.. ❤️🔥 Let’s dig in properly, shall we..? I’m 10000000% willing to come back here! A friend actually recommended this place, and I’ll be back again!!!!! That’s how satisfying the meal was hahaha.

One bite with the geotjeori,

then one wrapped in fresh lettuce 🥬 and one with ssammu (pickled radish wrap) 🤤 I especially loved being able to enjoy it in so many ways! There’s ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), chili peppers, garlic, sesame oil dip—lots of options to suit your taste haha.

If you’re looking for a Korean bar in Dongmyeong-dong, I recommend Ju Myeongdang!!! The interior is neat, the atmosphere is great, and the portions are generous, so you can really eat your fill 👍🏻
