Seongsu café near Mamang Gelato for coconut ice cream: Bocado Butter
In short
Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store is a dessert café in Seongdong, Seoul, serving Spanish-style butter marshmallow cookies called bocado, a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3 in the alley across from Mamang Gelato. The order was coconut ice cream, a 3-piece bocado set, chocolate dipping sauce and an iced americano. Bocado Butter's coconut ice cream tasted of natural coconut with no artificial flavor and had a texture between soft serve and sorbet. Bocado Butter is a good next stop after a Mamang Gelato visit.

❤️⭐️Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store❤️⭐️

Right next to Mamang Gelato: Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store
Bocado Butter is a dessert spot I end up stopping by whenever I'm at a Seongsu café!! Their signatures are coconut latte and coconut ice cream, and a butter marshmallow cookie called bocado is super popular!!
It's right next to the alley for Mamang Gelato, the super-hot chewy pistachio Dubai gelato spot in Seongsu, so it's great to swing by as a course when you come for Mamang Gelato!

If you come out of Seongsu Station exit 4 and turn left at the Beurre Beurre alley on Yeonmujang 7ga-gil, you'll pass Betong and find it in the alley across from Mamang Gelato!
Bocado Butter's interior and exterior vibe

Right next door is Mamang Gelato, famous for pistachio Dubai gelato!! So if you find a place with a huge line, you've found it easily haha!!

A cozy, comfortable interior!

The space isn't huge, but there are quite a few bar-style seats set up so solo dining and solo café visits are easy!
There's also a sink for washing your hands and a big mirror good for photos!! Even though the space is small, it doesn't feel cramped — they really made good use of the layout!

Bocado Butter's menu lineup
At this Seongsu dessert spot, bocado and coconut ice cream are the representative menu items!

So apparently bocado means "just one bite" in Spanish!! It's like a very thin baked butter crepe with a thin layer of marshmallow inside, so it has this stretchy + crispy texture!
It's similar to a jeonbyeong (thin rice cracker) but thinner and shatters crisply when you bite it. There's a huge amount of dipping cream sauce!! Coffee, chocolate, butter caramel, and coconut dipping sauces are the popular ones!

Since they're so good at coconut, there's a whole lineup of drinks too — coconut milk, coconut avocado, coconut latte!
How do the coconut ice cream and bocado 3-set taste?

Iced americano Coconut ice cream Bocado 3-set Chocolate dipping sauce

The coconut ice cream was the tastiest thing I ate!!! You'd be crazy not to order coconut ice cream at Bocado Butter...

It's somewhere between soft serve and sorbet!! I'm sensitive to artificial coconut scent, but this was completely natural coconut flavor!! And it's just sweet enough and refreshingly cool, perfect for a tiring summer
The iced americano was nutty and clean with no sourness!

It was cool and clean, so it paired well with the sweet desserts!

The highlight is bocado — for takeout, use an air fryer
Of course the highlight of today's Seongsu dessert spot, Bocado Butter, is the bocado!!

Quite a lot of people take it home too — apparently if you take it to go, just running it in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at home makes it taste exactly like eating it at the store!

The super-thin butter crepe shatters crisply when you tear it, and the marshmallow inside stretches sooo long!!

They must use good butter because the nutty butter aroma is intense, and if you dip it generously in the chocolate dipping sauce the sweetness just seeps in ㅠㅠㅠ The bocado itself has a subtle sweetness!

If you're looking for a unique Spanish-style dessert café in Seongsu, you have to come try Bocado Butter!!

Bocado Butter is a dessert spot I end up stopping by whenever I'm at a Seongsu café!! I came for Mamang Gelato but became a real regular, and I keep taking home the butter cookie bocado — highly recommend it as your intro!~
