"Those who want to post will grow, and those who don't will not grow, so to grow, I start posting." Today's stop is Le Vegie Wang Seongsu (르베지왕 성수). I went to the Musinsa Mujinjang event and ate here while I was at it.

A quiet place for a solo meal in Seongsu: what's Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space like?
Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space was a poke restaurant where eating alone was comparatively quiet, even in crowded Seongsu. Seongsu is packed anyway, and the famous places have long waits, so I was wondering whether there was anywhere calm to eat. Walking into Le Vegie Wang turned out to be a good call.

The inside is bright and clean overall. The tables are spaced widely, so you can eat comfortably, and the other customers were mostly women, alone or in pairs. It's summer, so I have to go on a diet again, and when you make plans in Seongsu, poke is a nice alternative to something greasy.

It's an open kitchen, so you can watch the food being made. It seems hygienically kept, which makes me trust it more. The spot where you order and pick up food is tidy too.

How was the Musinsa Mujinjang collab event?
When I visited, Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space was a Musinsa Mujinjang collab restaurant, so Musinsa promo materials were stuck up all over. A receipt event was running too: eat at a collab restaurant and you can join a lucky draw. You could also get a 10% Musinsa coupon through the QR code on the pamphlet. (It has ended now.)

Out of the many menu items, I ordered the special one made in collaboration with Musinsa. I wanted two lucky draws, haha.

When you order a salad bowl, it comes with a little Musinsa Mujinjang flag stuck in it. Musinsa must have spent a real fortune on this event. Seongsu Station has even become "Musinsa Station."

Even in Seongsu's lively mood, I could feel a bit of calm and eat comfortably, which I liked. Perfect for solo diners! And good for my health too, hehe. I'm such a woman who looks after herself. And I really love the soft-boiled egg.

What's in the Le Vegie Wang Spicy Salmon Bowl and how does it taste?
What I ate at Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space was the Spicy Salmon Bowl, a salmon bowl with a light Mexican twist. It has both cooked and raw salmon. The raw salmon is soft and squishy with a nice texture. The main topping, the salmon, wasn't dry; it was tender and finely shredded.

The Spicy Salmon Bowl is pretty in color and looks appetizing. It's loaded with a colorful mix of vegetables, finely chopped tomato, corn, cucumber and peppers, with a good texture. Honestly, you eat these vegetables for the sauce. If you only look for low-calorie food when dieting, you can't keep it up for long. I accept some sauce calories.

I flipped over the bottom and found white rice.

The sauce was drizzled on generously and blended well with the ingredients. Vegetables, salmon and rice all in one bite made it a filling meal. Every mouthful tasted fresh and healthy!

Walking around Seongsu after the meal and the Musinsa Mujinjang event
(Why is this on the pedestrian lane..?) Seongsu is now almost like Myeongdong, half foreigners and half Koreans. Even the pop-up staff need English. Myeongdong requires Chinese and Japanese, Seongsu requires English. People keep getting more highly qualified, but pay stays where it was. Sigh..

I visited Musinsa, my original destination, and saw these pants marked as a special deal. They were the same Musinsa event pants, but ₩10,000 cheaper online. The lucky draw also seemed to be just a pile of 20% discount coupons, and since it was the last day, it felt a bit past its prime. The clothes were also all pretty rag-like.
It's a brand loved by people in their 20s and 30s, but honestly, young people look good in almost anything. It's not that Musinsa makes people look good, it's that Musinsa benefits from young people. (They'd look good even in grandma's long underwear. I hear Everland gives discounts if you go wearing those, after all.)
Who is Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space good for?
The conclusion of this stream-of-consciousness post: if you're looking for somewhere to eat alone in Seongsu, or dislike crowds and want a quiet, healthy meal, Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space near Seongsu Station is a good choice. It's a place to enjoy a little breathing room with healthy food in a clean space.
A drawback: the break time notice
To Le Vegie Wang: rather than posting a break time of 3 o'clock, it would be better to show the exact last order time.
