Vegan protein powder in low-sugar soy milk: Cleanit Protein Cacao
In short
Cleanit Protein Cacao is a vegan plant protein powder made from pea and rice protein, sold as a 500g resealable pouch for meal-replacement shakes. Cleanit dissolves with no clumping even in cold water, and 3 spoons (about 20g) stirred into 190ml of low-sugar soy milk tasted best — clearly chocolatey but not sweet. With little of the usual protein-powder heaviness, Cleanit Protein Cacao is easy to drink daily, morning or evening.

What is Cleanit Protein Cacao?
Cleanit Protein Cacao is a vegan protein available on Coupang, and it was the #1 result when I searched 'vegan protein' there. I didn't even know vegan protein powders existed, and since this one happened to have a shorter shelf life left, I got it even cheaper haha.
A clean-looking package for the vegan protein Cleanit Cacao. It reseals with a zipper pouch, so storage is easy, and since it's made from pea protein and rice protein it's a high-protein vegan shake that works well as a meal replacement or for people doing switch-on diets. Apparently it also contains no sugar or artificial sweeteners, so it can work for pregnant women, middle-aged and older adults, or diabetic diets too.

It's said to deliver 35g of protein per 40g serving, so if you drink a full glass once in the morning or evening, that should be enough protein for a whole day.

Does Cleanit dissolve in cold water? Powder texture and solubility
Cleanit's protein powder has a very fine chocolate-powder-like texture. Maybe because the particles are small and it's a vegan formula, it dissolved well in cold water without clumping. Since it's a vegan product with no dairy ingredients at all, apparently people with lactose intolerance can drink it comfortably too.

How Cleanit Protein Cacao tastes: chocolatey but not sweet
The particles are so fine it's almost like cocoa powder — or maybe like a very finely ground grain powder? But when you actually drink it, there's plenty of chocolate flavor without being too sweet, so there's less guilt when drinking it!
Even 'low-sugar' products can feel psychologically heavy if they're still too sweet, but this one nails a chocolate flavor without being overly sweet, so it feels comfortable to drink while also managing weight and getting protein in.

How heavy does this plant protein feel to drink?
If you add more powder to make it stronger, the chocolate flavor gets more intense and the drink goes down a bit heavier, but even so — maybe because it's a plant-based protein — it has less of that characteristic heaviness compared to other protein drinks I've had before. I can't say that syrupy, cloying feel is completely absent, but it's definitely an easier drink to swallow compared to typical products on the market.
If the average drink's cloying heaviness is a 5, Cleanit's vegan protein is about a 1.5.
How to mix Cleanit with low-sugar soy milk, and the ratio
Cleanit Protein Cacao tasted best when I shook 3 tablespoons (about 20g) with 190ml of low-sugar soy milk. They say it's good with soy milk or coffee too, not just water, so I tried it with the low-sugar soy milk I already had at home — and this was even better!! The low-sugar soy milk turned out way less sweet than expected lol, so it kept sitting unused, but pairing it with Cleanit made it work — nice choice.

A tablespoon, not overly heaped, came out to about 6-7g, so 3 spoons got me close to 20g. Then I added the 190ml of low-sugar soy milk and shook it up.

The fine texture mixes really well — that's a plus! And the chocolate flavor without being too sweet paired perfectly with the soy milk I'd been avoiding because it was too bland!! It has chocolate flavor without too much sweetness, so there's less guilt, and less of that heavy, cloying feel when drinking, which made it easy and pleasant as a daily morning-and-evening habit. It's tasty with water too, but honestly it's better with soy milk lol. If you're not lactose intolerant, it'd probably taste great with regular milk too!! But if you are lactose intolerant, soy milk works plenty well.

How long does one 500g pouch of Cleanit last?
If you have soy milk you're not really drinking, mixing it in once a day seems like enough to hit your recommended daily protein intake! Both the soy milk and Cleanit's vegan protein feel like healthy choices, so using them as part of a diet or meal replacement lowers the psychological hurdle a lot.
500g sounds like a huge amount, and the shelf life might look short right now, but eating 30-40g a day comes out to roughly 12 servings, so if you have it daily, you'll finish it in about 2 weeks — the shelf life isn't actually that tight haha. Even if you only have it on hard workout days or strength-training days, 2-3 times a week, finishing one 500g bag takes about a month and a half, so there's plenty of room!! I'm getting ready for a marathon coming up soon too, so I'll make sure to keep up my protein with this vegan Cleanit protein!!
