Songdo kalguksu restaurant, Incheon: ₩15,000 weekday lunch shabu set
In short
Syabudaum Songdo Amusement Park Branch is a shabu kalguksu (hand-cut noodle) restaurant on Cheongnyang-ro in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The writer ordered two weekday lunch shabu kalguksu sets at ₩15,000 each plus a 4-piece potato pancake at ₩12,000, working through shabu vegetables, beef, a kalguksu noodle add-in and bokbunja (black raspberry) tea for dessert. The broth is clean rather than heavy or overly spicy, and with partitioned tables and private rooms, Syabudaum suits family gatherings or occasions that matter.

I went to Syabudaum, a restaurant in Incheon's Songdo Amusement Park area. Syabudaum specializes in shabu kalguksu (hand-cut noodles in shabu-shabu broth), and it was delicious — clean, not too intense. Plus they have private rooms, so it's great for family gatherings or important occasions, and the staff were friendly too. I recommend it as a go-to spot in Songdo Amusement Park. Let's get into the post~
Where is Syabudaum Songdo Amusement Park Branch, and where do you park?
Syabudaum Songdo Amusement Park Branch is at 95 Cheongnyang-ro, 1st floor, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon — right in the area where the old Songdo restaurant cluster is. Hours are 11:30–22:00 with no break time, last order at 20:30, and no closed days.

There's a dedicated parking lot right in front of the restaurant, so parking is easy. If it's full, you can park at the Ramada Songdo Hotel rear lot, which is free for up to 3 hours.

Inside Syabudaum: partitioned tables and private rooms for family gatherings
Inside, this old-Songdo lunch spot was fairly spacious, with everything from regular tables to private rooms. Each table had partitions, which made it easy to chat comfortably while eating, and the private rooms looked ideal for family gatherings or important occasions where you'd want a calm, quiet meal.

If you want to use a private room, it looked like reserving ahead was a good idea.
Syabudaum menu and the ₩15,000 weekday lunch set price

What we ordered: weekday lunch set shabu kalguksu (₩15,000) x2, and potato pancake 4 pieces (₩12,000). Syabudaum's menu had lots of options, like hanwoo (Korean beef) shabu-shabu or Australian black angus. Side dishes like potato pancake and stir-fried beef tendon looked great to pair with the shabu or as drinking snacks. And recently they added the weekday lunch menu, so you can get a whole kalguksu set for a very reasonable ₩15,000.
There's also a receipt review event running, where you get extra items depending on what you order. If you order the new shabu kalguksu and write a review, you get 1 potato pancake free per kalguksu ordered. The potato pancake is seriously good, so definitely join in haha.

Table setting and side dishes: salad and geotjeori (fresh kimchi)
Once seated, they neatly set the table with side dishes and cutlery first. First up was a salad meant to prevent blood sugar spikes! Cabbage and cheese topped with yuja (citron) sauce — sweet and tangy, really good.

The side dish was simply geotjeori (fresh kimchi), but true to a good shabu-shabu kalguksu place, the kimchi was seriously amazing. (Definitely ask for a refill.)

What comes in the weekday lunch shabu kalguksu set, and how it tastes
The shabu-shabu we ordered comes already prepared, so you just bring it to a boil once and eat right away.

The shabu kalguksu pot was packed with various mushrooms, bok choy, cabbage, and more. The weekday lunch shabu kalguksu set includes shabu vegetables + beef + kalguksu noodles + bokbunja tea dessert.

The beef that came with it looked great just from the color. Even though it's a lunch set, the portion of meat was bigger than expected — a nice surprise.

There was also a soy-sauce-based dipping sauce, which tasted even better with some added chili or wasabi.

Once the shabu-shabu starts boiling, you drop in the meat. As is standard for shabu-shabu, you eat it once the color changes. The broth was rich, a little spicy, and refreshing all at once — I kept eating spoonful after spoonful.

The beef pieces were nice and thick, and eating them wrapped in vegetables was delicious. Dipping the vegetables in the sauce too, I just kept eating.

The ₩12,000 potato pancake at Syabudaum: what style is it?
Syabudaum's potato pancake (₩12,000) wasn't the style I usually eat — it was crispy, which made it even better.

The potato pancake was topped with cheese, bacon, and sprouts, and eating them all together made it even tastier.

Crispy and crunchy, it paired really well while eating the shabu-shabu.
Finishing with kalguksu noodles in spicy broth and bokbunja tea
After eating the shabu-shabu for a while, they add the kalguksu noodles. (The portion of noodles was huge.) Before adding the noodles, if you tell the staff, they'll set a 4-minute timer for you.
You can eat the kalguksu in the regular broth, but you really should try the spicy broth version! Because it's just better ^_^

Like jang-kalguksu, the broth was thick and rich, and it tasted even better with kimchi! After finishing everything, having the cool bokbunja tea for dessert was the perfect ending~ If you're looking for a good lunch spot in Songdo Amusement Park, I recommend Syabudaum.
