I was craving proper protein and went looking for a great Korean BBQ spot, which led me to Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch, a newly opened Seokchon Lake pork BBQ restaurant 🥩 The moment I took my first bite, I was like, wait, what is going on here haha 😆
The owner grilled the meat for us personally, and it came out at exactly the right doneness — the juices were still totally locked in with the first bite 🔥 The meat itself was just excellent, and every single side dish that went with the pork belly was delicious too 😋 Let me introduce Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch, a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a Seokchon Lake pork BBQ spot for a group dinner 💛

Where is Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch?

Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch, a pork BBQ spot near Seokchon Lake, sits right in the Bangi food alley 📍 Since it's a newly opened restaurant, everything is spotless, and it's an easy pick if you're looking for pork BBQ or a group dinner spot in Bangi-dong 🥩
Inside Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch: private rooms and a second floor

Since Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch just opened, the whole place is really clean ✨ There are private rooms and even a 2nd floor space, so it seems great for a Bangi-dong group dinner or a big gathering 🙌 And above all, the owner was so friendly that the whole meal felt genuinely pleasant 💛
Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch hours and break time

Yukmong, the Seokchon Lake pork BBQ spot, is open from noon to midnight ⏰ Break time runs from 3 to 5pm, but there's no break time on weekends 😊
The event freebie: brisket pork belly ramyeon or gochujang beef tartare

Yukmong also has a surprisingly fun event running 😆 If you take part, you get to choose between beef brisket ramyeon (noodle soup) or gochujang yukhoe (spicy raw beef) 🍜 You can grab a side dish on top of your meat, so if you visit Yukmong, definitely check out the event 💛
What comes in the 69,900-won Korean pork mixed set

Yukmong's signature menu is the Hanwoo pork mixed set, so that's what we ordered too 🥩 You get pork belly, pork neck and skirt meat all at once, perfect if you want to try several cuts in one sitting 🙌 Ordering the mixed set also gets you a doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) alongside it, which paired nicely with the meat 🍲 If you're after a Seokchon Lake pork BBQ spot where you can enjoy multiple cuts at once, I'd recommend the Hanwoo pork mixed set 💛

Yukmong's basic side dishes come out looking really neat and clean 🥢 There's a good variety of sides that pair well with the meat, and the owner even threw in some yangnyeom gejang (marinated raw crab) — the rice thief itself 🦀 The gejang was genuinely delicious, made me crave rice right in the middle of eating meat 😋 The sides being this good made it an even more satisfying Seokchon Lake pork BBQ spot 💛

Korean pork mixed set at 69,900 won, grilled for you at the table

The Hanwoo pork mixed set costs ₩69,900 🥩 At Yukmong, staff grill the meat for you from start to finish with real care, so you can just relax and eat 🔥

None of the meat got burnt — the outside cooked up beautifully while the inside stayed locked with juice 😋 The meat was already great on its own, but layered with the staff's grilling skill, it felt like the flavor leveled up even more 👍

If you're looking for a Seokchon Lake pork BBQ spot where you can eat great meat without grilling it yourself, I really recommend Yukmong 💛

Pork neck topped with herring roe
Topping pork neck with herring roe gives you a whole different flavor to enjoy 🥩 The soft pork neck with the herring roe popping and adding a salty savoriness — the combo was genuinely great 😋 Pork neck is delicious on its own, but eating it with herring roe brought the texture alive too, making it even more appealing 💛

The doenjang stew included with the set

Ordering the Hanwoo pork mixed set gets you a whole pot of doenjang stew alongside 🍲 It's a savory, cheonggukjang-style (fermented soybean) doenjang stew, rich and deep, so I kept reaching for it while eating meat 😋 For something that comes as a free side to the set, the portion was generous and the taste was great — I started wondering if this place is secretly a doenjang stew spot too 💛
Finishing with cold buckwheat noodles at 8,000 won

Wow, Yukmong's mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles) is genuinely so good 🧊 It's exactly my style of cold noodles, so I loved it from the first bite 😋 There's a sweet-and-tangy flavor going on together, a bit different from the usual mul-naengmyeon taste, which made it even more appealing 💛 It's the perfect way to close out a meat meal, so if you visit Yukmong, make sure to order the cold noodles too 🙌
