Seoul Station sandwich café for iced decaf and egg potato: Dance Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a baguette sandwich and coffee shop on basement level 3 of Grand Central, next to Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. After a hospital appointment, the writer stopped in only for coffee but spotted the sandwiches on display and ordered an egg potato sandwich with an americano for 14,400 won and an iced decaf americano for 5,500 won. The baguette at Dance Dance Dance had a crisp crust and a thick, creamy potato-and-egg filling, and a single piece was filling enough.

A Grand Central brunch spot right in front of Seoul Station where you can enjoy coffee and a hearty baguette sandwich at once
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station in brief
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a great place to pair a crisply toasted baguette generously stuffed with fillings alongside your coffee.
It's right in front of Seoul Station so it's easy to get to, and the portions are hearty enough to count as a full meal — worth remembering next time you're hunting for a Seoul Station sandwich spot.

I had a hospital appointment a while back, and after lunch I was looking for somewhere to grab a cup of tea. Searching for a quiet spot to sit and drink coffee, I ended up at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station inside Grand Central. Honestly, I was pretty full already and just planned on coffee.

But the moment I saw the sandwiches on display, my plan changed instantly. Haha — I would've regretted it if I hadn't tried one, it was that impressive, so let me walk you through it in detail.
Location, parking, and basic info for Dance Dance Dance at Seoul Station

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a 1-minute walk from Seoul Station Exit 4. Since it's right in front of Seoul Station, getting there isn't hard at all. But on your first visit, remember it's on basement level 3.

- ⏰ Hours: Daily 07:00–19:00 (last order 18:50)

I figured it was just somewhere on the basement level and went down, but I kept not seeing the shop and wandered around a bit. Haha.

Tim Hortons is on basement level 1, and if you go down two more floors from there, you'll find it next to a GS25 convenience store. There are escalators and elevators, so getting around was easy.
A space that was roomier and more comfortable than expected

The name Dance Dance Dance immediately caught my ear. Does it mean the food is good enough to make you dance? I found myself wondering, haha.

The shop isn't a walled-off café but an open layout. I thought it might feel a bit chaotic at first, but once I sat down it was surprisingly comfortable.

The sightlines opened up toward the upper floor, so it didn't have that closed-in basement feeling, and I could count nearly twenty tables for four — the space itself was quite large.

It seemed like a good spot near Seoul Station whether you just want a quick coffee, want to settle in with a laptop, or want a proper brunch.
Kiosk menu, the running discount, and happy hour

Ordering was done at the kiosk near the entrance. There were more options than I expected, so I spent a while scrolling through the screen.

There was also a Dance Happy Hour set — order a sandwich and coffee together before 10am and get a free scone.

What stood out was the running discount! Show a record of running at least 2km that day, and you get ₩1,000 off an americano or one of two latte options. It fit the brand's image well and struck me as a fun little event.
After some deliberation, we ordered ✔️ egg potato sandwich + americano ₩14,400 ✔️ iced decaf americano ₩5,500.

After ordering, they threw in a drip bag as a freebie, too. When I brewed it later while working, the aroma was quite rich — it felt like an unexpected little gift.
How was the egg potato sandwich?

And finally, the bread arrived. True to the visuals that turned a coffee-only visitor into someone placing a full order, it was quite big in person. It came cut in half, and each half was substantial enough that two people could share it.

The baguette's crust was baked crisp, breaking cheerfully with each bite, while the inside kept enough moisture to avoid being tough. It was generously packed with mashed potato and egg. Unlike the usual salad-style filling where mayonnaise flavor hits first, the density of the egg and potato themselves came through — creamy and savory.

The mild potato gave way to a soft egg flavor, and the mayonnaise tied everything together with a moist finish, keeping the overall balance solid. I'd claimed to be full when ordering, but I kept reaching for more. Haha. Even one half was quite filling, so it should suit anyone at Seoul Station looking for a light but hearty meal.
Iced Americano

The regular americano wasn't overly sharp from the first sip. It left a subtle nuttiness in the mouth, and the body was pleasantly moderate rather than heavy.

I also liked that the acidity wasn't pronounced, so it didn't clash with the mild flavor of the potato and egg.

A bite of the baguette followed by a sip of the cold coffee cleaned the palate nicely.
Iced Decaf Americano

The decaf, too, had a fairly distinct coffee aroma rather than feeling watery. It went down a little more smoothly than the regular americano, and the finish left a gentle nuttiness.

It seemed like a good choice for late afternoon when caffeine feels like too much, or on days when you've already had several cups of coffee.

Best of all, it paired well with the dessert-like sandwich without the flavors clashing.
Why I'd recommend Dance Dance Dance as a Seoul Station sandwich spot

I only walked in planning to drink coffee, but after eating, it's hard to talk about this place without mentioning the sandwich. The generous fillings made it substantial enough for a full meal, and the texture of the baguette worked well with the filling, so I'd like to come back and try other menu items next time. If you need a quick meal before heading through Seoul Station, or you're looking for a Grand Central brunch spot, this seems like a solid choice for handling coffee and a sandwich at once.
