Cheesewave is a pizza brand that started at the Itaewon pizza favorite UPP, and the Bucheon City Hall branch is near Bucheon City Hall Station. It was the Constitution Day public holiday, so after a morning workout I finally made my cheat-day trip to Cheesewave 🍕 My younger sibling had recommended it as really good pizza, and I'm only getting there now, haha 😊

I'd heard you can try Cheesewave in Bucheon too, so I really wanted to go. I know the Songdo and Sinchon branches usually have long waits, so I was super excited 🩵🩶

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall location, hours and parking

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall is at 16 Seokcheon-ro 184beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, on the 1st floor. It's right behind the E-Mart at Bucheon City Hall, and very close to Line 7 Bucheon City Hall Station!

• Parking: check nearby lots first

I thought about parking at E-Mart, but the Bucheon City Hall parking lot is free on holidays and weekends, so I parked there for free, haha. It's right next door.

Do you need a reservation at Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall?

You can reserve through Naver, and arriving right at the 11 AM opening was easy 👏 Customers start pouring in from noon, and delivery pickups get busy too. I loved that they put a Reserved sign on a good table for us. Reservation highly recommended 🤭

Inside Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall: the atmosphere

The shop has clean white interiors, butter-toned and camel-colored chairs, and Cheesewave's red as an accent color 💕 This pizza place is so pretty! It's a great pizza spot to eat in, and the mood is lovely 🍕

It's a nice-mood spot, so it would work for a date near Bucheon City Hall, or when you want pizza for brunch 🥰

The outdoor tables have a nice vibe too 🍻💞 The red accents are just so cute. It's also good for eating outside in the cool breeze.

How do the self-service bar and table sauces work?

After ordering I wandered around the shop, and it's decorated so cutely, haha. Looking at the pizza props is fun too. The mood is great, so it's good for dates 💕

Ta-da ❗️ There's a neat self bar in one corner of the shop where you can grab tasty pickles, plus napkins, wet wipes, forks and knives, plates and more. Why is even the self bar this cute? 🩵🍕

Every table has ketchup, sriracha sauce, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, hot sauce and more. No need to ask for anything, so convenient 🤭

Evening draft beer deal at Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall

After 8 PM, when you order pizza, draft beer is ₩2,500 and soju is ₩2,500 ❗️ Such a good deal! There are also outdoor tables with a mood that makes you want to sit outside after sunset, so it's a nice place to go for a second round of beer.

How does the half pepperoni, half sweet potato pizza taste?

My half pepperoni, half sweet potato pizza came out, and I added garlic sauce too, yay 💕 A freshly baked pizza is different from one delivered, you know? Cheesewave says it uses its own recipe: a thick, rich tomato sauce and a chewy butter dough aged 48 hours, so the taste is different from other pizza places 🍕🍻

I just ate and somehow it already looks so delicious again? My husband's pick: pepperoni! My pick: the soft, sweet sweet potato pizza.

Sweet potato pizza for the win. They piled on more sweet potato mousse than other pizza places do. Bacon, corn and cheese are loaded on too 💕

The pepperoni looks great too. Packed with pepperoni, so Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall is generous with toppings 🫶

Pepperoni is the pick for a half-and-half pizza

Cheesewave's pepperoni pizza is really good, wait...? 🤭 Salty toppings, rich cheese and Cheesewave's own deep tomato sauce, so there's a reason it's a BEST menu item. My husband loves pepperoni pizza, and he eyed me nervously and asked if it was okay for him to eat 3 pepperoni slices even though it's half-and-half, hahaha. It wasn't okay, but I said it was, haha ❤️‍🔥 That's how good the pepperoni pizza is. If you're doing half-and-half, I recommend pepperoni ❗️❗️

You can eat with a fork and knife, and they also give you hygiene gloves, so it's easy to pick it up by hand.

Eating the pizza with homemade pickles goes together so well 👏👏👏 I love garlic sauce so much. It was so good 🩶

Is the Cheesewave cheese crust worth adding?

At Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall, the cheese crust is a must 🍕❗️❗️ There are several crust types, but if it's your first time, definitely go with the cheese crust ✔️ You can add it through the review event, so be sure to get it ✔️

They say Cheesewave's cheese crust is 100% natural whole cheese placed right on the end of the dough. So anyone who loves cheese like me can't help but love it 💕 It's rich, flavorful and savory. You know how with some pizzas the cheese crust has no cheese taste and is bland? Sometimes there's barely any cheese inside the dough, too. Cheesewave's cheese crust is baked with thick whole cheese on top, so please try it 💕💞

I like that half-and-half lets you taste two flavors, haha. I tried the sweet potato pizza too 🍕 Sweet, soft sweet potato mousse piled generously on top was satisfying 🫶🥰 Corn and bacon go together great too ✔️

My husband told me to look at the cheese stretch, haha. Maybe because it's whole cheese, it doesn't snap off and the cheese is rich. It was really good ❗️❗️

I sprinkled Parmesan on the pizza, but eating it as is also tasted great, because the ingredients are good 🩶🩵

Dipping the whole cheese crust in garlic sauce, hehehe. The pizza and the cheese are delicious on their own, so I had a super happy cheat day 🍕

Can you take leftover pizza home?
